🌹HELLO FORKERS 🐝 🦋 🐜 June ‘22

Here we are … another month has arrived … now it’s Flaming June 😎 … the month when the cuckoo changes his tune, and when a swarm of bees is worth a silver spoon.

Hopefully this month will live up to its name and bring us some warmer weather …

So now we have a new thread to say hello, welcome friends old and new, and chat about almost everything and anything … all the highs, lows and inconsequential bits and bobs of life … and offer an ear to listen and a hand to hold in the tough times.

So find a comfy chair, flop on the sofa … the kettle’s always on … and bacon baps or sticky buns are available …

Morning all.  We are back from town and trying to get warm. The snow flakes stopped and left a freezing breeze for us to enjoy.

Morning dull and damp here, I agree @punkdoc, our heating hasn't kicked in for most of the month (hall thermostat on 18) . The last 2 days it's been coming on . The rads aren't getting particularly hot but early morn, and late eve we've noticed it's been quite chilly, a little bit of sun wouldn't go amiss now.
Expecting the man to come with the new oven door seal this morning so I had better et on.

    Good June Morning!

It was sunny at 7am - then a black cloud came over, so I went out with the dog in the cool at 8.  Now it's sunny/cloudy.

Lovely introduction as usual @Dovefromabove   Sorry about your weather @Allotment Boy   Stinking hot here!!    28°C yesterday which is a nice temperature for down here.

Enjoy your day - I'm off to the markets on my magic bike to get fresh eggs.

Cold again, but was out early, planting. It's now raining.

Apparently it's going to rain here shortly too @punkdoc ... timed nicely to coincide with the washing machine just about to finish a full load of OH's work clothes ...  :s

Bit of a non weather day I think,  I usually get the beans planted out on the 1st June but the nights have been about 3 to 4°,   Hopefully it will start to warm up a bit.
Think it will be GH work, replenishing the soil ready for the tomato/cucumber plants.

    Morning all.

Thought about doing a towel wash but rain is forecast. Heavy rain is forecast for the church picnic on Sunday  :/ will probably have to have it inside the ancient, probably unheated church.

@Busy-Lizzie. Just the same on Coronation day,   rained so we had to dash into the church hall for the street party.
