I forgot about it @Busy-Lizzie, so missed that one, too busy gardening while it was dry. Had just got finished when it started raining hard so good timing there.

Shame about the church picnic. As you say, not many people go to church these days, including us. We only went to the Moravian church one because I walk past most days and saw it advertised outside. They always do a drop-in cafe on Fridays.

    I've yet to meet No2.
Unlikely to see them whilst Hubby is still alive. I can't leave him

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ we have a wet morning here in Norfolk … today’s excitement is mainly driving to the smaller of our hospitals for one of those ladies’ chest flattening procedures 🥴 then the most fascinating tasks remaining will be attending to the laundry and venturing out into the garden to cut a lettuce for a salad supper. 😊

Early start (for me), expecting workmen. A text when I got up to say weather no good they will come tomorrow now. It's supposed to dry up today! Ah well.

Morning all. Hope you have enjoyed your long weekend break whether gardening, celebrating or visiting friends and family. We managed to have some rain here yesterday (at last) and the garden (plus the weeds) is looking a lot happier. In charge of the dogs and cat this morning while daughter at work so just pottering around for the next few hours for me, will hope for some fine weather to get outside this afternoon.

    Hi all
Rain has finally stopped, but still very chilly.
NDN popped round last night with some Jubilee cup cakes, I think I am going to get on with her very well.
