@Busy-Lizzie i don't know which bank you are with but we are having a lot of problems with ours, when we try to order things on line, it is being refused.

  • Hello all,

Seriously not a good news day is it, heartbreaking watching the news and the poor Shane Warne and his family too.

We have an association in our town that connects English speakers, particularly when new people arrive. There was a coffee morning today and many of us brought donations for the Ukranians, the mairie is organising collection points too. I am thinking about offering a home to some refugees, a difficut decision, but just watching the poor people, they are so traumatised. I will talk to the mairie's office next week.

I just keep watching the news thinking someone will say it's all over..... we can but hope.

It was said on the TV News that they don't need any more clothes for Ukraine. In fact the most useful gift is money.

Morning folks.up at 6 today, the mornings are getting lighter. Said on the weather sunrise 6.30, never quite sure exactly what that means on a day like today, because it was light at 6,but there is no sun and non forecast. Dishwasher done ✅. Might bury myself in the green house,do some potting up

    Good morning all … 😊 ☕️
A damp day so far … but still springlike … son phoned yesterday … he’s been working flat out since Christmas but testing is slowing down now and he has Sunday off … will I be cooking a roast?  Well, I’d bought a small chicken but there was a bigger one in the freezer just waiting for such an enquiry, so I’ve swapped them over. I’ve not seen him since Christmas so it’ll be lovely.

That does look dark @Pat E … I imagine the river and dams are full now?

Haven’t been put the back to look at the dams, Dove.  The river continues to spread out. 😁

Doesn’t seem long ago since it was all dry and parched around you @Pat E
