Hi I’m back. I’ve had a fairly boring day, but decided to just colour in.  I’m finishing off a book that I’m sick of, so only two pages to go then it’s going to the tip. 🤭😁

@Pat E … it says here that NSW is in for some bad storms and heavy rain … will this affect you?

“…Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Orange, Canberra, Goulburn, Moree, Dubbo and Lightning Ridge.…”

    Greetings readers!!  Afternoon @Pat E

Dull and grey here today.  Looks like we will be having some cloudy weather for a couple of days, but the wind has gone on holiday.

I sowed a few seeds yesterday.  Strawberry mint, lemon basil and my padron peppers.
I had to stop because it is too early to sow other vegetable seeds for summer - outdoor planting.

Making a potato dish with the padron peppers for my nursing neighbours who are on the afternoon shift, so don't finish until 7pm.

I also think I will fill the car up as it looks as if petrol prices will skyrocket - if we can get any at all - in the next month.

I hope you all have a pleasant enough day.

    Tui

    Morning all.

Worrying news. Russia has attacked Ukraine. I don't like to talk politics on here but this is serious, just hope above all that it won't be WW3.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning all. Snow showers here today so no gardening here. Roll on spring, it's seemed a long winter.

Dove, Canberra is the closest of those and it’s an hour plus north of us, so I think we will be ok. It’s been cloudy here all day and Hubby and his mate didn’t get rained on in Canberra.

By the way you asked how he got on today. All ok, but he needs both cataracts removed, so that’ll be organised with another surgeon when he goes back for a visit in June. 🤭. Sigh! There always seems to be more going on.  His regular Oncologist visit is tomorrow,  thankfully at least it is in Cooma, so only local travel.  We are getting too old for all this activity.  🙄

  • @Busy-Lizzie ... worrying times ... let's hope for some cool heads.

@Pat E ... I hope your OH can get his cataracts seen to soon ... Pa was able to go shooting again after he had his done ... the op was very successful  :)

Morning all, good to see you back @Hostafan1 and things are OKish with you.
I suggested to OH yesterday while we were out that it might be wise to fill up with petrol, a good decision was made I think @tui34.
It's one of those days where I'm dithering.....lots to do and don't know where to start and then end up doing none of them or something completely different!
