    Evening folks.

Those snails @Hostafan1! I’m guessing that with all your little Hostas to protect, the snails have gone to snail heaven.

I hope you feel better very soon @chicky. Hats off for quarantining. I’m not sure I would go to those lengths now, as thankfully my OH is low risk. I remember at ‘the start’ some of my colleagues quarantined from their little children - heart-breaking.

I hope everyone is doing ok. Your dinners always sound tempting @Dovefromabove. Chicken dinner cooking here, as per Sunday regime.

Have a good week to come folks. Let’s hope March behaves and we can all get going on garden jobs.

  • Evening all,

Glad you're feeling better @chicky, I hope the snowdrops were worth it, how very annoying though. 🙄

Nice to hear about such kind gestures @Hostafan1. 🙂

Well done on the decorating @Obelixx, I admire your determination and @Ergates too, I'm afraid I've got no patience for decorating and have to pay a man who can, on any attempts I've made I ended up wearing more paint than ended up on the walls, definitely not my forte. 🫣

Fingers crossed all goes well for OHs tests @Busy-Lizzie, all this waiting must be extremely frustrating.

Lovely day here today, and so nice to see people on the terrace. With the Covid restrictions we were shut for the last two years of spring months, all my beautiful bulbs no-one has seen yet, the sun today has certainly brought out them and the customers. 😎

Now about to enjoy all the leftovers of a roast beef dinner and a nice bottle of Perchament. Lamb shank sounds delicious too though @Dovefromabove, hope OH is feeling suitably guilty for raiding the larder.... How very dare he? 😅

Have a good evening all, very best wishes to all feeling a bit down, here's to long spring days ahead.

Oh dear @chicky - who knew snowdrops could be super spreaders!  Sounds like you are on the mend - a friend who was at the stage you are at now was out and about again about 3 days after that.
That's a lot of (now ex) snails there @Hostafan1.  Good time of year to get 'em though.
Your lamb shanks sound as if they were delicious @Dovefromabove. Long and slow cooking is the way to go.  Perhaps I'll give the chef here a nudge...
Don't know why I'm here when I ought to be tucked up in bed - got to be ready for my radio interview tomorrow from 8am!
    Night night all.

Morning all.  Lots of grey clouds hanging around this morning. Probably rain coming. At least I got all the washing out and back in yesterday. 👏👏
With the easing of Cyclone Attika easing in the north west of WA, they expect the rain to move diagonally across to the south east of NSW. That’ll take a few days.
Nothing much planned today, but we have a plumber coming to change some taps etc. tomorrow, so I’d better remove everything from the cupboards below the sinks.  Who knows what I’ll find. 🙄

Cupboards all emptied whew! I’ve had to store them in the bath. Lucky we don’t use it. (We are shower people here).

  • Morning @Pat E and those to follow. In my experience cupboards under the sink seem to get full of things we really need but yet as they disappear into the black hole we don't actually use them - a good opportunity to have a sort out.

First day back at school for Charlie today, he has some big decisions coming up soon now about Lycee, so a serious new term for him. Also, a school trip to England in April, London and Brighton.

Have a good all, catch up later.
