    Morning all,

Yesterday afternoon was feisty :o but today I'll be a lot more relaxed!

Loads of little jobs to be done in the garden but no idea what will actually get done until I start pottering. Weather is forecast to be perfect so no excuses ;)

@Ladybird4 hope you feel better soon.
The fog is lifting, still can't see the fields and woods at the back of us.
Having another cup of tea 😋

Morning all. Lazy start to the day for me. OH has gone to his mates for a few hours to tinker with karts - I didn't hear him get up or leave. Woke up to find a lukewarm mug of tea by the bed. When I rang him he said he didn't want to wake me as I was well away, fast asleep and clearly in need of a catch up.

We got home yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately on Thurs a warning engine light came on on the motorhome which we couldn't ignore. Managed to find a helpful truck workshop in the Midlands who also service m/homes. They let us drop it off on the way home yesterday morning and will put it on the diagnostics some time this week. Service manager thinks it's almost certainly a pressure sensor playing up - sounds like a fairly common fault. Fingers crossed it's not too expensive.

Had a really good mooch round Shrewsbury on Friday (what a pretty town and lots of nice shops) followed by a late lunch by the river and then a teatime viewing of the Bond movie. What a load of enjoyable tosh🙂 - all good fun😁

Hazel - hope your family issues can be resolved. Take time for yourself as well.

LB & Debs - how are your colds doing? Two weeks on and my cough has finally started to subside from a real barking hack to the regular tickle I've had for years. It's a nasty little virus - but I've been very kind and generous and shared it with OH...

Hello all  :)  Hope they can make the light go out easily @Topbird 🤞

It's a bit dreary weatherwise here but a sunny afternoon is being looked forward to as my son is coming for a Sunday roast B) ... the first family meal we'll have shared since the first lockdown ...  his favourite is roast shoulder of lamb, with  parsnips and  carrots, and roast potatoes with lots of mint jelly and gravy.  Fortunately I've found the last jar of mint jelly in the back of the fridge ... somehow I didn't get around to making any this year ... you'll have noted that I've not mentioned anything green (other than the mint) ... he's never been strong on 'greens' but he will be having homegrown Cavolo Nero ... just been out and picked it.

We won't be having a pudding ... we rarely do and he is careful of his weight (he has his mother's sturdy build and her propensity to absorb calories by just looking at them) ... but we do have a little pack of Cornish Clotted Cream Fudge for him ... and he won't have to share it with his landlady as she's vegan.  B)

Right ... better get things organised ... have a lovely Sunday folks ...

I've had a good stint 'playing' out the back. The leaf bin is pretty full now and I fiddled around splitting a sempervivum archnoideum tomentosum, which I got last weekend. One plant overflowing a tiny pot has now become 15 :open_mouth:

Potted on half of the 8 alpines (for £5) that I thought were good value. Very rootbound so they should be happier now.

Picked all the remaining green tomatoes and dispensed with the plants, which frees up some more big pots for even more potting on!

Another pocketful of French beans from the jungle. I've started to cut it back as I won't get many more and it is obstructing a loganberry that I want to check out. I thought it may have disappeared but it is starting to emerge now ;)

LB I hope your feeding your cold.  I hope you’ll feel better soon, keep warm.  TopbirdShrewsbury sounds lovely.  I hope your motorhome is soon sorted.  I’m glad you enjoyed the Bond movie.  James not Brook🤗.  Lily I’ve put the heating on to dry some clothes as my spinner is playing up.  I’ve just received two boxes, one containing a beach towel and the other a hairdryer.  I ordered a hand towel, not received, so will have to scan the boxes and I’ve downloaded a free QR scanner and then you take them across to the sm apparently.  Human error as email has a picture of the hand towel.  Strange to end up with two boxes which arrived separately.  Visited mum and dad and then home doing Lily’s tv, all hung to dry.  Having a cuppa after my endeavours.  Chive enjoy your family meal.   Biglad a successful forage in the garden and breathing space for the loganberry.  Dove a lovely lunch.
