I got it downloaded to my e-reader and started it the other night - during one of my sleepless hours - I am loving the fact it is so easy to read - I can almost hear Richard Osman reading it and I'm enjoying getting into it. I've got him the next one in the series for his birthday in November. There's a 3rd due out the end of next year. There's a mist over the fields this morning, but doesn't feel as chilly. Just enjoying my first cup of tea 😉
Hello all .... I'm locked out of the kitchen while OH does DIY stuff in the walk in cupboard ... as he's using the back door and studio door too I'm not doing stuff on the terrace or in the studio either ... don't want to slow him down ... so today I'm confined to the living area and upstairs ... I've done the ir :oning, cleaning and tidying the bathroom and sorting out the paperwork ... after PopMaster there'll be nothing to do other than noodle on here, read, knit or investigate the murky depths of daytime tv 😂

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Lovely day here. P and CB are coming this afternoon to point the outside stone walls of the dining room extension.
My rubber pavers have arrived, I'm going to make a stepping stone path so I can get to the utility room door without wet feet in winter. Stone pavers are too heavy for me.

Afternoon everybody. It has been a drismal day here today but my Charity cards arrived so you can take a safe bet as to what I have done for a short while today (boring!). As I was looking through the cards I was wondering why I didn't buy the required number of cards in just one design. This would save me the trouble of going through them trying to match appropriate cards with recipients. Why do we do this to ourselves I wonder?
My sister texted me from the beach in France (mad jealous here!) but she did say that it was much cooler than yesterday. Did that make me feel better? Not blinking likely! They have another week before they come home so I'm expecting to feel mad jealous a few more times.

Good evening to all. I came in the house just few minutes ago. Lorry with firewood came today so after school I had an excellent exercise. There is still left for tomorrow. Now tea and there is some culinary show on tv. Weather is a lot better today. Still dark and cold.
Evening Ante. Good to hear that you got all your wood stacked away ready for the cold weather. How often do you have to order wood? I think real fires are lovely but they can be a bit messy. I would love one here but I would have to have my chimney reinstated. I had it taken down a few years back because it was showing signs of wear and tear.
