  • Good morning Rubee, LB, Ante and all to follow.  Rubee you’re awake early this morning.  LB hope you’re feeling better than you did.  Ante enjoy your tea.  I’ve had quite a few this morning.  I can hear the bin men carrying out their work.  Quite dark earlier, will set off to sm when lighter.
  • Morning everyone,
Looks very foggy here this morning. The leaves are starting to fall from the oak tree, autumn has definitely arrived.
I'm drinking my first cup of tea too @Ladybird4 it certainly is the nicest ☕☕  Hope you're feeling a bit better this morning.
We cancelled our food delivery this week, the freezer and cupboards are full. But will pop to the little shop later for a loaf of bread.
Have a lovely Saturday everyone, have you any thing planned. Take care.

Hello all .... great to hear your good new SGL  :D  Good to 'see' you Antje ... glad you've got the potato harvest in. My son has a full beard ... I think it suits him ... he too had awful skin problems when he shaved. The Dermatologist said there were two solutions ... spend a fortune having expensive facials to deal with ingrowing hairs (his beard hair is quite curly and reddish... he's been told it's a Viking trait 🤔)  or grow a beard ... the beard is the best option both in time and money.  He has it properly trimmed every so often at an Italian/Turkish barbers so that he doesn't look too much like an ogre  ;)

Morning all later arrivals. Hazel, take all the time you need. You know where we are. I hope that things with your Mum and your daughter get easier for you all. Meanwhile have a lovely time today with 23. I'm sure that will help to lift your spirits. Right, need to shake a leg and get orgsanised.

    Morning all,

Very long working week. Could do with a lazy day but, of course, I've got running-around-a-field duties this afternoon.

Bulbs to plant and last weekend's boot full of goodies to pot on/fettle but no idea when I'm going to get a decent chunk of time in the garden.

I'm going to have to do some work tomorrow to get a head start on next week - it will be at least as bad as this one but at least it should be the peak of the tedium!

Hoping to be a free man again at the end of the month :)

Afties all. Finished planting all the bulbs I got in the week apart from those I picked up on Thursday. I am now pooped and going to take things easy this p.m. I got worn out just thinking about your running around a field duties Biglad. Bet you can see that little light at the end of the tunnel. This job has been long and drawn out.
