    @Lizzie27
2 friends of my daughter: both under 30, both fit, regularly play sport, go to the gym , don't drink , don't smoke ,eat a healthy diet BOTH contracted Covid last summer.Ā
They both said they thought they were going to die and even now are not 100% fit and back to normal.Ā

I know Hosta, I just find it unbelievable that supposedly intelligent people can be so stupid. The woman in question apparently believes in what she reads on social media.

    I'd agree.Ā  Ā

@Busy-Lizzie you need to have a spare to pack in your stay-away emergency grandma kit!

Possum has been having on and off mild headaches since her jab and has a sore arm but is otherwise on fine form.Ā  Ā Almost time for the Sewing Bee.

We’ve woken to light rain. Much less freezing temp, so that’s good.Ā

Obelixx,we’ve also had mild headaches since the first COVID vaccine, but nothing we didn’t expect. Ā At least we are on road to getting the full vaccine. That must be good.Ā

I’ve been laying in bed thinking about how go about trying to sell Mum’s piano, my classical guitar, Mum’s zither, lots of music and extras. I wouldn’t have any idea how much to ask. Thinking, thinking! Ā Perhaps saying all reasonable offers considered. I’ll probably put an ad in The Canberra paper as well as our local, but suddenly realised that I wouldn’t want strangers visiting the house in case of the virus. Hummm! Ā I’ll give it a bit more thought.Ā

    Good morning,
    Ā
Lovely here and we've had some good rain too late afternoon yesterday so plants are happy. Much needed.Ā

Always tricky to find a price for 2nd hand things @Pat E. Perhaps a musical instrument shop might sell them for you, could give you an idea of perceived value and save people coming to the house, if they took a commission would be worth it for both of you.Ā

I have discovered a broken pipe in a part of the garden that is flooding upwards, part of a shrubbery. Not quite sure what to do about it. It's water not sewage but would involve a lot of digging up the bed to sort it out. šŸ¤”

Have to take a trip to Bordeaux today to get some more tables, 1st chance I've had since they reopened after confinement. A bit of a trek but we're just so busy we need them, I can't afford to turn customers away because there's no where to sit. I'd have to wait nearly 3 weeks for delivery.Ā

Glad Possum is feeling ok @Obelixx. I've got jab 2 on the 11th, not looking forward to it after the 1st one, but hoping the reaction won't be as bad. Happy to be getting it though whatever the discomfort.Ā

    Have a good day allĀ

    Good morning all 😊 ā˜•ļøĀ
oh @Pat E that takes me back ... Shirley Abicair playing her zither and singing ā€˜Little Boy Fishing off a Wooden Pier’ Ā I was 3 and I wanted a zither sooo much ... there was no way my parents could find one ... they got me a toy banjo with a winding handle that played ā€˜Oh Susannah’ ... I loved it but it wasn’t a zither šŸ˜‰Ā

😁😁Dove. Lovely to have those memories. Ā  I’m not sure what has stirred me up about them, but it’s probably because I’ve been thinking about me turning 81 later this month and the kids aren’t into musical instruments. Ā

I’ve looked on EBay ... the prices range from Ā£10 for two ā€˜with signs of woodworm’ to Ā£250 for what look like good ones.Ā
