I think that at 27 years old you should be old enough to know better and not need telling @Nanny Beach  ;)

    Morning all.

Awaiting results of garden competition - it'll probably take weeks knowing the French system. 😅

Large school leaving party yesterday, 29 of them, all went well, 50 booked for an Italian Soirée on Friday evening, a lot of prep to do today. Weather forecast is looking good, very much fingers crossed.

Poor garden is suffering with constant heavy rain showers, so much has got too tall and now flopped. 😏

Anyway, must dash, have a good day all. I do hope you get OH sorted @Busy-Lizzie
Great to see happy faces with sports results too on the BBC this morning. 🙂

Morning everyone,  another cloudy dull start here.  Hope the showers hold off today,  lots to do in garden and on plots, getting behind again.

Lovely morning here. Up and out early for a walk by the seafront, now having breakfast in a cafe in Sidmouth. Pancakes and a sea view, what could be better?

    Good morning all.

It's another grey day in South Norfolk. I can't plant my new plants in a sunny position because there aren't any!

We are going to lunch at one of our favourite pubs, long time since we were able to do that.

The V pillows that I ordered from Dunelm arrived yesterday, 2 days early.

Good morning all, sun's just breaking through here. OH has gone into town after putting the sewing machine on the table for me - I've got to shorten the sleeves of the two linen tops I bought on Monday, then it's more packing up and shifting to do.
I'm so envious of those of you who live near the sea, we're about as far away as you can get in England so we don't see it that often. Looking forward to our holiday in Suffolk where we'll be a bit closer to Southwold and Aldeburgh. Apparently Sutton Hoo is inundated with visitors following the film so we have to book tomorrow.
Good luck with the Italian soiree DD, rather you than me.
Poor lad @Lyn, same age as my grandson who also loves football.
    Right, better get on.

Forgot to mention @Lyn's grandson, especially after the shock of that photo! At least he's smiling  :) I hope his nose wasn't broken, that's pretty painful. I expect it looks better now his face has been washed.

He did look better after a wash, just a cut on his eyebrow, swollen nose and two black eyes.  He lives for his sports, nothing deters him.

Most lads seem to get war wounds of one kind or another @Lyn.  When I was younger I used to ask boys I was interested in if they had a scar - most did, usually on their forehead, as my brother did.  I think he got his falling out of a tree.
Still dull here but that's OK - I do have plenty of indoor work that I'm getting on with.
