    Hello all! We are now reconnected with the phone and internet at long last, have read back a bit but sure I missed some news. @chicky good luck with the exam results, i'm confident you have sailed through. I think @punkdoc is off maybe today for a nice break? @Hostafan1 that's a bummer - take care. @D0rdogne_Damsel I feel for you and the garden and staff! We now have a power cut so on the battery of my laptop, which doesn't charge very well.
    Catch you all later.

    Morning all,

    Just the lightest of overnight sprinklings here. Really need a steady few hours of rain to give everything a good soak.

    @Hostafan1 - hope you are able to rest now and that all will be well.
    If I could I'd potter about in the garden in my nightie all day. I love pottering in the morning sunshine, deadheading here, watering a pot there, picking a little posy!  But I do need to get into my gardening gear - there is heavier duty work to do today while we still have the sun. Rain forecast for tomorrow and Saturday.

    @Pat E not til September 🙄

    Great day at my Volunteer Garden today …. They are all such lovely people 😀.  Not sure why this continues to amaze me ….obviously 30 years of corporate claptrap will take a while to erase from the memory bank 🤪

    Came home and still had enough energy to plant all my spare tomato 🍅 and cucumber 🥒 plants in an outside bed (Mr C helped)

    Also got going on a new cross stitch project for my niece ….who has a baby due in July.  Gosh, I’m going to be a GREAT Auntie.  How did that happen ?????

    Congratulations @chicky, I agree, it is very strange to be referred to as Great Auntie (which I am, several times over).

    Morning DD. You’re such an early bird. No doubt getting ready for yet another bush day.

    Try substituting bush for busy. Darned spell checker beat me again.
