Iām going to hunt through my seed stash for pak choi or similar ā¦ time to start sowing it now ā¦ if I canāt find any I may pop up to the GC ā¦ anyone want to come ā¦?

Right @Fritillary ā¦ slight change of plan ā¦ OH is working on the GC site today so heās going to get me a packet of seeds ā¦ he cycles so heāll give you a seaty up there (itās not far) so you can spend a day mooching and heāll bring you back at 4 ā¦ the cafeteria is open so youāll not starve ā¦ and providing you only get stuff he can bring back in his bicycle basket or backpack, or in your satchel, the garden centre is your oyster. Can you be ready to leave about 9:40? š

Slow steady rain yesterday turned into a full blown thunder storm by 1pm. The rain came down in "trunks" !! Ā The ground is saturated and the sun came out at 3ish. Ā It has cooled the air down though and the leaves are sighing in contentment. Ā
@Dovefromabove Ā I popped in a few Pak Choi seeds a few days ago but it is so hot here in summer, they bolt. Ā I did it anyway. Ā Other brassicas are doing ok but in a cool part of the garden before I plant them out, under netting but in full sun. Ā Can't be helped.
@Busy-Lizzie Ā That's an expensive venture for a C-test. Ā Did you get checked at the border? Ā My OH went to see his family in Italy in May armed to the hilt with Vacc-Cert, Neg. Tests and there wasn't a sausage at the border - he didn't even get his train ticket checked!!
@D0rdogne_Damsel Ā I hope rain didn't deter too many people yesterday. Ā How many people can you seat indoors?

@Dovefromabove That sounds like heaven, a whole day at the garden centre. I might have a bit of a problem transportingĀ any bought goods as I am lucky enough to have Ā£90 to spend. Thank you.

Hi everyone,Ā damp start yesterday, dried up so I got a full day at the Allotment,Ā while OH went shopping with the twins and her daughter.Ā All part of their extended 18th birthday celebrations.Ā Ā Wet start today, don't think I will be getting out much from the forecast.Ā
