That is good news @Dovefromabove - if I was her Mum I would have been marching her straight to a different A&E for a second opinion. Ā Hope they can get to the bottom of it.

Welcome @Ilikeplants - good to have you here šŸ‘šŸ»

Dove hope it all turns out well for your niece. Oddly,my last job Hyper acute stroke unit,we got a few young people over the years presenting as stroke, turned out to be a migraine.

    Good evening.Ā

Don’t forget GW is on now, for those who like to watch it ā€˜live’.

@Dovefromabove, IĀ was thinking that your niece’s friend should have stayed in to see a specialist/have scans etc.Ā

Dove, agree with Nanny Beach that it may turn out to be a type of migraine. My daughter in law had something similar in her late twenties. Slurring her speech and didnt make sense. After tests, told it was a migraine. Interestingly, I mentioned her symptoms afterwards to a GP friend, who immediately suggested a migraine.
Must have been pretty scary at the time. I’d never heard of such a thing.

Hello @Ilikeplants, anyone can join in, good to hear from you. Some of us have been here a long time, but don't let that put you off. We chat about more things than gardening.

šŸ‘‹šŸ» It’s feeling chilly, weather is all over the place. I need sunshine in the weekend and rain for daytime weekdays.Ā

Can I put in a bid for overnight rain on weekdays too please. Ā It’s only recently that weekday gardening opened up to me, but I’m enjoying it too much for it to be permanently soggy 🤪

Welcome back @Busy-Lizzie - glad you got here safely.Ā  Glad Wonky is safe in Hove actually and hope niece's friend gets sorted in the N&N @Dovefromabove.Ā  Still up as had a nap this afternoon - apart from taking car for its MOT this morning have done nothing much at all today.Ā  That happens sometimes - just not up to much and have a day off.Ā  Hopefully can squeeze some time in the garden tomorrow after picking car up and before it rains again on Sunday.Ā  Enjoyed Gardeners World this evening - interesting on the alternatives to box.Ā  Mine, however, seems to be perfectly OK.Ā  Needs trimming though.Ā  Night night. x

Brrr. It’s windy and cold outside. Ā The wind is coming from the south, ie. Antartica. 😔 only 2 mm in the rain gauge, but heavy rain predicted. I’ve yet to read back the last pages.
