That's lovely, @AuntyRach. Exciting about the hedgehog, I hope it was OK.

Sending sympathy about your teeth @didyw, I hope it's not too sore.

I went for a Covid test this morning for my journey to the UK tomorrow. Negative. While I was in town I bought some silver and gold pretty sandals. Strap has broken on my favourite sandals.

Went to Son 2's this afternoon bearing birthday pressie for soon to be 6 grandson.

Been very hot and muggy and we had a small amount of rain.

Love the photo Aunty Rach. I usually put my cloud photos on the jigsaw site so that I can play them. 🙄

    Morning all.

There was a huge storm last night, thunder was really loud, bit scary. The electricity went off a few times. There was more heavy rain and some rumbles in the night. At least the garden has been watered and doesn't look too battered.

I must get a move on, not packed yet.

    Have a good journey @Busy-Lizzie 🤗
The rain started here just before midnight … don’t think there was a storm … I didn’t hear anything and the windows were all open wide …. just steady fine rain which has done no damage … I think there more rain on the way over the next week … that’ll cut down a bit on my time spent watering …

    Good morning!

@Busy-Lizzie   Drive carefully, the roads will be greasy.  Let us know when you arrive.

Hazy, humid and muggy here today, still hot but a fair breeze blowing.  Some hoeing on the agenda today methinks.

    Have a good day everyone.

A good hoeing is worth two waterings.
