You are making me tired just reading about all you are getting done @Busy-Lizzie.  I don't envy you driving on your own from France to the UK but at least you will get a good rest when you get here if you have to quarantine.
I feel so sorry for all of those who have completed their uni courses, GCSEs and A levels unable to have any kind of celebration.  And for those looking forward to their weddings. Yes more guests, but no more than 6 to a table, table service, no dancing, no singing.  I can't imagine many sticking to those rules.
I'm off to the dentist in the morning to get this wobbly tooth out.  Hopefully I'll be able to get an implant at some point.  Otherwise I shall be wearing my mask whenever I am out whether I need to or not.
Hope you manage to create a nice juicy burger @Hostafan1.  We'll all have to be careful about what meat we buy once that hormone pumped c**p starts coming in from Oz.  What a shambles it all is.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
A lovely sunny morning but the patterns of the clouds in last night’s sunset were a sign that rain is on the way … we need it … the water butts we use for the blueberries are almost drained.

    Good morning to you!

Maybe the last really hot dazzler today - a drop of 10°C forecast for tomorrow onwards, so around 27° to 30°C afternoons.

@Busy-Lizzie  Would it be worth your while and register with BlaBla Car and take a passenger with you for company.  Not only helps with the costs, but it's company during the trip.  I do this and had 3 women, 1 Italian, 1 Argentinian (my age) and a young Spanish girl.  The energy in the car from Switzerland to here was amazing.  Stop for light lunch and coffee for 40 mins.  The passengers are thoroughly checked as is the driver and you are doing someone a good turn.  Maybe a bit late now, but ....

@D0rdogne_Damsel   The simple things in life are best, that's why at retirement age, we realise how little we need and how little we need to do, to take pleasure in these simple things.

Away!  Work to do in the cool of the morning!

    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all.Misty here this morning.

We know a guy who has never been further from here than Bristol
I can't decide if it's really great that he's so happy he doesn't want to travel, or just really weird that there's nothing on the planet he wants to see

We are just home from Canberra at 4.30 after leaving home at 9.30.   We are both
b…ggered and can’t wait to snuggle down on the lounge chair.

Thanks Hosta. The house has really cooled off, so Hubby is bringing in arm loads of firewood and trying to get it chugging away.
