Morning all, tui I have had to break out the air conditioning and fans. Morning sun beating down on the terrace and directly onto our windows means my home office was at 28 and the greenhouse with windows and roof open is at 37 by 8.30 this morning.
I need to get stuck into a load of reading for work today as Disney re opens this week. Need to approve around another 20 procedures so I think I’ll stay indoors and keep cool.
Hmmm, Dove. I’m a bit funny about Danish men.  My first husband was from there, so I’m not always pleased to hear anything about them. Still, you can’t paint them all with the same brush, I suppose. 🙄.Â
Hubby has just advised that he isn’t allowed to play it because we aren’t in the UK. 😳. Pity.  Darn!
We had a good friend who was Danish ... a fascinating man who was Principal Research Scientist at the John Innes Centre near here for many years ... sadly he died a few years ago. Â
And re painting folk with the same brush ... my husband was English ........ didn't stop me finding much happiness with another very different EnglishmanÂ
I'm sure I heard someone on the radio say that the Cardiff Singer of the World was available to watch 'wherever you are in the world' via the website ......... perhaps he said 'listen' rather than watch ... anyway, I've emailed them for clarificationÂ

Morning everyone, my greenhouse is a mere 25, with the auto vents wide open, need to go and open the door.  Might try and re-set the irrigation system, now the Lemons are released from their house , I can reconnect the pipes that brings the water round to the patio.Â
We are both very well after a lovely weekend with family, a lovely wedding and far too much to eat and drink, it was a real antidote to the funeral. thanks for asking, how about you?
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team

our old next door neighbours are arriving on Weds. Now I'm paranoid about weeds
Morning all, went out early to water the tubs etc, 34 deg here yesterday @tui34 the same for today I think and then breaking down with storms a bit later in the week. Another day indoors so will watch the tennis from Queens when I can wrestle the remote from OH who will want to watch the football as well!
Just had a message from a fellow student who’s area is being surge tested this week.  The only thing scarier than taking these exams is the prospect of not being allowed to take them, after all that work.
Hair cut today. Â Better get her to make it quite a drastic one. Â Never know when we might be locked up again. Â Do you think anyone might conclude that we need to spend more money on our health service after this experience? Â It seems to do great so long as people only get sick one at a time.

I've had a reply from the organisers of the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World. They say that you should be able to watch the competition all this week via this link ... wherever you are in the world
