Sounds a busy day BL, much like mine. Are you still on track for the 17th, flying or by ferry? Bet you're counting the days now Our lockdown easing has been put back to 19th July, which is a disaster for the hospitality trade. I don't think it will affect us much, apart from going away on the 4th July and our family wedding is not until the 30th. They have relaxed the rules on the numbers of wedding guests thank goodness, there would have been uproar if they hadn't.
Yes thanks, we are ok. Not looking forward to Hubby’s ophthalmic appt in Canberra tomorrow. He finds the return drive a bit much nowadays, and I worry in case he nods off while driving 😳. Yes I know. Shouldn’t borrow trouble.
I haven’t done long drives for quite a few years now, so he wouldn’t let me take over. My Birthday (81) is coming up in week. It’s a strange feeling to think about it. 😂😂😂
I want to mow the fiddly bits before it gets too hot. I think there will be some broad beans ready to freeze before I go. P came yesterday and did some strimming and learnt how the tractor mower worked. He mowed the main lawn and edges of the drive, so very helpful.
@Lizzie27, I'll be driving and taking the ferry on Thursday. While I'm away the builders will be doing the floor on the open barn so it will become the car port. P will be coming daily to see his donkey.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

The wee birdies have been singing their hearts out since 3.30 , bless'em.

Hopefully there may be a chance to meet up for a coffee @Busy-Lizzie 😊
