    Glad you are there safely @Busy-Lizzie.
    That is very worrying about your nieces friend @Dovefromabove, do you know if she has had a COVID jab?

    Well I have my asked for rain, but I wish it would modulate its ferocity, it's like a monsoon.

    Ā An anyone be a Forker? I’m a bit of a fair weather forker in honesty.

    Anyway the monsoon has filled my 3 water butts now. Wish I had more time and inclination to set up more gutter systems on the shed. I was also going to uncover the compost heap to catch the rain but I’ve forgotten to do that. And the wheelbarrow full of pulled out forget me note and now filling with water too. Garden jobs half done everywhere.Ā

    The university student services are usually very good at keeping tabs on student welfare. So many suffer from mental ill health while there. But also their personal tutors too.

    @punkdoc I asked niece that and she said she didn’t think so yet.Ā
    It certainly sounds like a mini stroke to me … apparently she was talking rubbish and couldn’t read or work out how to put her coat on. She said it was very scary cos it felt like she couldn’t think.Ā
    After about an hour it went and she explained to her flatmate who took her to the N&NUH.Ā

    @Lizzie27
    I had a periacetabular osteotomy in 2005. Not a twinge ever since.

    Glad you have arrived @Busy-Lizzie Ā the weather forecast was not good - just the day you choose to go! Ā I'm glad you arrived safe and sound, you must be a good careful driver. Ā No sign of rain here - overcast, still and muggy. Ā

    Hi @Dovefromabove - I’m catching up on some recorded programmes for the first time in ages.

    News from niece … NHS 111 rang her and said A&E should never have sent her home (presumably triage) … they’ve sent her back to hospital to be seen by a doctor. She’s there now.Ā
