Thanks Punkdoc. We’ve been to town and indulged in quince and apple pie with a scoop of ice cream. Yum!

Morning folks, Happy Birthday Pat. DidyW, no I daughter's coming over today
Last night's forecast for today said sun, well at the moment it's pouring,(again!) A question, folks,on here, who have had their heating on (in the UK) wondering what the temperature is,inside your houses. I'm sure no-one on here will be offended by my asking,we laugh about the weather (what else can you do) Good luck for Chicky, and finger crossed for Punkdoc for the holiday, after recent difficult time 💗

    Good morning all
     😊 ☕️
     and have a Very Happy Birthday @Pat E 🎂 🎉

It looks like a brighter and slightly less chilly start to the day.

@didyw how very annoying … hope the repair gods smile on you today.

@D0rdogne_Damsel  sounds as if you’ve picked a good staff member there 👍

Have a good day with your daughter @Nanny@"Nanny Beach" 😊

When are you setting off @punkdoc ? Have a lovely time 😎

Hope @Hostafan1 slept well … we like Premier Inn … our ‘budget hotel chain’ of choice. 😊

Good morning. Happy birthday Pat. My youngest daughter works from here today while I look after her little boy. I will have to get on and get all my jobs done before she turns up. Chickens first and then  some housework. A view from the back door this morning with rain laden roses. Have a good day. :)

Good morning @Fritillary … hope you enjoyed your trip out yesterday … IH says you were light as a feather … he hardly noticed you were there! 😉
The area beneath my roses looks pretty much like that!

Mind you, with all the rain the ‘meadow’ looks pretty lush!
    That was after dead-heading yesterday.

    Good morning all.

Many happy returns of the day for today, @Pat E   Nice to mark the day with something special.  Quince and apple pie does sound yum!

@floralies  Yes, we got it too at about 1pm - 3pm but not the force of wind that you got.  I hope that you will be able to get the garden back on track.  It had to come, it has been sooo hot.

Pretty rambling roses @Dovefromabove and @Fritillary  I had a yellow one but had to chop it down as it was damaging the fence.

@D0rdogne_Damsel   Glad the new waitress is proving her worth.  Hope it lasts.

That's strange @Hostafan1   Air bnb are usually pretty reliable.  I hope your daughter gets the refund and gives a bad comment for that let.

@Chicky  How did the exam go?

    Cooler here - some respite.

    Happy day to everyone.

    Good morning all.
    Happy Birthday @Pat E.
Air BnB sorted out. Mix up which could easily have been resolved if the "host " had just ans wered her phone / emails.  Refunded money already and we slept well at Premier Inn.
Having a cuppa then looking forward to a nice bath before heading back do see Daughters /SiL and Grandson
