How annoying to see ads @Biglad.  For some reason I don't see ads.  Is that because I'm a GW subscriber do you think?  Lovely pic of Edinburgh Castle @chicky.  I was in Edinburgh for a conference some years ago and we had a private tour of it, then some highlanders demonstrating how kilts were made and worn and how people fought in them whilst we ate a posh dinner.  Fingers crossed for your exam results.

Can’t bomb around Bungay anyway … not since they put the speed limits on the Bungay Straight. When I was driving from Halesworth to Norwich every day i used to get a shift on along there 😉

OH had his ECG at the GPs' surgery. It was better than the one at the hospital but there was still a slight abnormality. They are sending it to a cardiologist.

Then we went to Sainsbury's to stock up on food. Then we went to one of our favourite pubs where I had half a pint of cider and OH had a pint of Adnams bitter. I booked a table for lunch tomorrow. Haven't done that since before Covid.

@Busy-Lizzie  🤗 I think he should’ve had the Adnams before the ECG … it’s reputed to cure worse things than a slightly wonky ticker 😉
Enjoy your lunch tomorrow. I’ve an appointment with the dental hygienist 🙄

My youngest grandson caught an unfortunate boot when playing football on Saturday,  went to hospital , cut eye, maybe broken nose, should have rested for 3 days, back playing in a match in Sunday.  That’s keen.  He’s only 12 bless him. Back to school on Monday with two black eyes and a swollen nose.

Morning folks,Dove, why didn't you tell me last night to take water with it,! I only ever have one glass of wine, always order tap water as well,I was starving, ordered large glass, also unusual. The restaurant we went ,(,myself and 5 other girls) is the one my hubby and I always went to, because it's a carvery and they do "small plate"
I wanted cauliflower buffalo wings, veggi, said to my friend,"what's the betting it's OFF" yup waitress came over said it was off! Their chips were cold, so they sent them back, gave us🎈 a round of drinks as an apology, they were all on double G and T I had a small vino, still too much, should have asked for dessert instead, also in the confusion, forgot to ask for water. So I blame you Dove!
