Hang on in there DD. You can only do what you can do. Being sought after can only be good for future bookings surely as if customers perceive a restaurant is so good it's booked right out only makes them more determined to try it.
    Good luck with the competition.

Evening all,  Sorry so many had a rubbish nights sleep.
Spent this morning sowing seeds and moving/planting pots.  Firstborn came this afternoon with Merri and Mabel who spent lots of time helping Grandad with his speech. They tried really hard not to laugh when he got the words wrong but it was so funny that they ended up in gales of laughter.  Grandad was laughing too and we all had a lovely relaxing time.  His speech is slowly improving but it's going to take some time before he's back to normal.

That's probably done him a world of good @Yviestevie.  Laughter is such great therapy.

I'm off to bed now.   Weary sort of day, tho pleasurable and an early start tomorrow for a gardening club visit just north of La Roche-s-Yon.

    Evening all,

Pretty tired myself after running around in the sun this afternoon. It was 20+ degrees, which is plenty for me.

Hoping for the same again tomorrow when I can get involved in more sedate activities.

Good morning all. Our nights are cold now and we’ve been leaving a small heater going in the bedroom. Very cosy. Minus 4 this morning.

Hosta I’ve been meaning to ask if you discovered if the spiky had babies or not.  Hubby heard gunshots next door through the night. I haven’t seen our trio of Roos today. Fingers crossed that they were pointing their rifles in another direction.  Darned yobbos. 😡

I’ve been reading back several pages to be ready for the new month pages, and now remembered to ask you, Obelixx, what species of Eucalyptus they had for sale.
I’m glad your hubby is home too Lizzie. Hope his speech continues to improve.

    HIya Pat,
I think I'd just discovered where Spikey hung out during the day.
The "nest" was empty yesterday morning, no sign of babies.

Another thought. Obelixx, I’m very impressed with your patchwork bag.  You’re so neat!  Love the colours as well. 👏👏

I'm finishing knitting another pair of gloves and feeling very stressed. Sometimes I wonder why I bother, but they are popular and I sell quite a few. Sigh.

That’s good Hosta. I hope she appears again.   They look very cute.
