Thanks @Nollie! Mine are to keep my bassets out of the borders too! The bigger panels are a brand called Panacea, design "park lane", they have them on amazon and I expect ship to Spain too as they seem to ship all over.  The smaller ones are selections - Set of 5 x Heavy Duty Steel Path and Border Edging (45cm x 41cm panels): Amazon.co.uk: Garden & Outdoors  - Very very solid sturdy metal (not sure why it says plastic!) and great for the price.

Thanks @JessicaS, yes I remember your Bassetts!! The shorter ones would be enough, but I just looked at your link and they don’t deliver those to Spain, unfortunately. I might have to dust off my DIY skills instead! Hopefully once it’s all planted up and growing away (soon, I hope) Bill will run out of soil space to snuggle down. Thankfully, he’s not a trampler or destroyer by nature, but does compact the soil.

Thanks @Nollie, probably good for couples to have it separately in case both get knocked out by it. My partner is younger as well and not yet eligible. I recommend having paracetamol on hand, helps with the worst of it.

I have those smaller metal fence panels, very sturdy 👍

Thanks Marlorena, that’s encouraging to hear, can’t wait to feel normal again. Windy here too, but some sun shining at least for a change. I mustered up the energy to have a wander in the garden, it’s nice to see things finally waking up.

Thanks @newbie77, I don’t have any pics of last years flowers in my phone now so I’ll have to wait for new blooms. No buds yet so getting impatient now.

I tried to do a stem propagation if a yellow rose but it mustn’t have worked. No yellow roses.

@Nollie , thanks for the tip on Astronomia and I've looked up Odyssey and it looks lovely so one to investigate further definitely!

It will be a while yet until any of my roses flower but there are tiny little budlets on both Marie Pavie and Mutabilis so I reckon one of those will be the first! Amazingly, I've had no aphids on the roses at all yet - must be too cold for them!

Had my jab yesterday…feel like I’ve been run over. Anyone who didn’t have a reaction, count yourself very lucky! Bloody horrible.
Oh poo, I have my first on Thurs and my sister had a reaction to hers as well :(

    Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks @Victoria Sponge hopefully you’ll be ok but I recommend having paracetamol on hand, and for anyone without someone to cook for them, easy to make food ready to go just in case. Not everyone reacts badly though so you might be ok 🤞
