In the depths of winter I was very invested in knowing what Toyah was @owd potter but great that she is floriferous and hopefully the BS was only due to the odd weather. My Ghislaine is smothered in aphids too but also full of buds. Elsewhere I think the tea leaves are working.

    Thanks @Tack
'it's a mystery', and shall have to remain so.
    Still been a great find.
I keep blasting them off with a soapy water spray when I think about it, seems to keep them clear for a day or 2.
Some lovely blooms you have there, what is your most fragrant rose for a pot?

The pot rose with the full package for me at the moment is Diamond Eyes @owd potter I was amazed today how much scent it was wafting up. A tall pot would help with this but the habit and abundance of blooms makes me rate this highly. I have many roses in pots, most probably won't be happy long term, quite a few are new this year so get back to me on this. Blue River is the most fragrant right now but a bit lanky. I wait on Dames de Chenonceaux eagerly. Last year the scent was great and everything else shows great promise at the moment.

    Thanks for those suggestions @Tack
I can imagine that I will soon want to add a couple of highly fragrant roses in pots for the patio and recall you and I think maybe @celcius_kkw have quite a number of potted roses.
I'll look for your updates on these.

What size are your pots @Tack? I remember seeing some photos of them and they didn't seem that big.

I was seriously tempted by munstead wood, but thought I had too many DAs. So bought clementina carbonieri and rose de roi. Both do well in pots apparently. We shall see!

Welcome @Lena_vs_Deer.  Nice to see your roses.  Your balcony looks wonderful, you must have a good view from there?
