@Fire I ordered two 3l plants - Illumination Flame and Berry Canary, one of each. But they emailed me that they had a stock failure and offered 3 1l plants instead of each 3l plant. So I ended up with 6 younger plants (a win, I think ). As a result, they started flowering slightly later and I am also still a little bit behind. They only started flowering in mid-June (Berry Canary) and early July (I. Flame). Berry Canary is now flowering both on the main spike and side shoots but the plants are still young. They are very pretty, I like them so far. They bring some other colours in my rose bed nicely together. I'll try to take more photos tomorrow. Here with clematis integrifolia.
...just to say, Digitalis Illumination 'Raspberry Improved' did not survive a winter here in East Anglia... and I mulched it too... so, I haven't tried it again since.. I would question that -10C hardiness..
I've not had much to share lately but here a few things out now... 'Danse de Feu' First flowers from 'Inspiration' 'Julia Child' was a bit late to get going but in full swing now and a very un-seasonal outdoor amaryllis!
@edhelka liked the globular shape of emperor charles
@newbie77 trouper is flashy.. and I love Jubilee celebration.. they say the its similar to boscobel.. but something about its petals, colour and added bonus of fragrance.. had to get it from Italy as there were no stock available earlier this year..
@Omori fetzyer looks nice.. will keep an eye on that.. do tell us your likes/ dislikes about her..
@Marlorena Rachel has not blackspotted yet.. fingers crossed...
