@cooldoc, Soul is in it’s second season, spent most of the last growing strong canes and leafing out, not that many blooms and spoilt easily by rain. This year, early rain didn’t faze it so much, just a bit around the edges. Judging by my photos, the first and spectacularly full flush was from 12th May to 2nd June. Fragrance is better - richer and more complex - than MW and TP. It also seems more consistent, whereas the other two vary in strength according to heat and humidity levels.
Both MW and TP started earlier than Soul. This year, MW has had a less spectacular but continuous flush since the start of May, still going strong. TP has distinct flushes like Soul. I think if I trained TP like Soul - a short climber, fanned out - bloom count would be higher. At the moment, it blooms only on the ends of too-tall canes.
Like @edhelka’s Our Beth, Soul (although very healthy from the start) has astonished me with the difference a year makes!
Marie Pavie foliage is lovely indeed, Edhelka. My two either side of the front door have had very short breaks, so more or less continuous bloom. If one was taking a break the other obliged, almost as if they were coordinating!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
This is 'Roundelay' after a night of heavy rain...almost unaffected, which bodes well for the future. I have read though the blooms fade to the colour of old liver with age, we'll see. But a beautiful shape and colour to the blooms so far; and as yet disease free.
They’re look good @Omori, very usefully pointy and a very reasonable price. I also bought a pair of deadheading snips recently, as my usual secateurs were too clunky for roses with finer stems like the teas and polyanthas. Handy for individually deadheading cluster flowers too, without accidentally culling new buds at the same time!

My Dahlias have finally started blooming. They used to bloom earlier when they were in pots or may be everything is delayed this year. I am also noticing colour difference. They were dark in pots of MPC and are bright and lighter in colour in ground. Difference in soil minerals/acidity.
Geranium rozanne under shrubs. Very useful for such location. There used to be just weeds there.
A bit quieter on here, are we all out enjoying our gardens? so much going on.First proper flush from New Zealand

@Tack, I'm here! It's far too hot outside for me at the moment, good job I deadheaded all the roses yesterday. How do you get on with Claire Austin? Mine is again waving at me over the top of my arbour so I might have to get the stepladder out when OH is around. Unfortunately our mobile signal is so poor I've given up trying to post photos.

Mme. Antoine Mari:
Souvenir de St Annes, fairly slow growing, but maybe because it’s in dappled shade. Those pollen beetles are a nuisance on pale roses:

Also can be used for light pruning (green growth).
