Won’t be long before they’re too big to hide @Hostafan1 😎

I've turned the Tropicanna Black clump into 30.
The other  ( which you have ) I left in much bigger clumps so have 6 Large pots and 6 smaller pots.

Ours was just too big to take indoors .., we couldn’t move it ... the container (dustbin 😒) was sooo heavy ... so its been in the most sheltered corner surrounded by other large potted plants, garden furniture and fleece 🤞

I'm exhausted, so have come in for a cup of tea. I've now fed all the roses except the red EduH which is on the outside wall and this also needs tying in so that's tomorrow's job. Pruned the cornus sibirica and pulled as much ivy as I could off the wall. I know it's good for wildlife but the wall is a 40ft x 3 ft high retaining one, rather amateurish, Bath stone rubble and the ivy is growing through the cracks. I also potted up the plant splits I did yesterday. Good job it's a ready meal lasagne tonight!
Your OH will have fun tomorrow Obelixx, playing with the new mower. OH has had his scarifier out again today whilst its dry, our front lawn is riddled with moss this year.

    Evening everyone.

Sorry I haven’t looked-in for a day or two, been busy and more hospital appointments with Dad who is now in a foot boot (long story but short version is the GP should have actually examined him and he might have spotted what I suspected was/is the problem). There is a time and a place for telephone consultations and this was not one of them.

Goimg to have pie and chips for supper and watch Unforgotten. Nearly as good as Line Of Duty.

I hope you are all ok and enjoying Spring pottering.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

I've been recording "Unforgotten", maybe I'll watch one tonight.

The builders have finished plaster boarding the study. They are going to plaster it tomorrow, using plaster from England which they say is better than French.

It's been a lovely sunny day. I spent the afternoon in the veg garden, weeding, digging and planting red onion sets. The bit for the lettuces and cabbages is prepared so I will plant them tomorrow. I planted the rhubarb that I bought last week too.

  • Hope your dad is now on the mend @AuntyRach and no serious harm has occurred because of the circumstances. This Covid situation just keeps amassing more and more casualties along the way.

I spoke to a friend today, who I thought had a rock solid relationship, both seemed to adore each other. Sadly, the lockdown has caused more and more friction, she's stuck at home alone, he's working, but then comes home tired, falls asleep watching tv, She just feels more and more isolated. They usually (used to) be very sociable, eat out a lot, travel a lot, meet with lots of people at various events, now they're struggling to talk to each other. She blames him, he blames her, gosh, so difficult. A lot of frustration out there.

I've just become a gardening addict, dawn til dusk, eat sleep, repeat. 😅 Although, this week Hot Cross Bun orders have been flying in, I need to get ahead with them or it'll be another Mince Pie scenario.

Enjoy your evening all, thanks for the advice re seedlings today too. Tomorrow I have to take a photo of a possible hosta peeking through and get our resident hosta expert's opinion - @Hostafan1. 😊

I bought my red onion sets in Leclerc about 2 weeks ago @D0rdogne_Damsel. A lot of them were a bit dried up though. Daughter said she couldn't find them either. They seemed to be on sale very early this year.
