  • Morning all,

Glad you are feeling ok @Dovefromabove, nice to have had the vaccine, hope looms. :)

I don't often eat baked beans but if I were to, definitely with Worcestershire sauce and a poached egg on top. :)

Weather is good here for a good few days so hoping to get in the garden and finish the many tasks I started way back in December - at last.

Thank you for the explanation @Busy-Lizzie, I suppose your trip would be interpreted as a holiday so that explains that - unfortunately. :(

That was good!  I finished off with a slice of toast with lemon curd on it. 😜😜

    Morning all,  goodnight @Pat E
Glad your not feeling the effects @Dovefromabove x
Morning @Hostafan1 your up and organised early!
Morning @D0rdogne_Damsel, Baked beans only go with a fry up here which is never done for breakfast but one of hubby's favourite dinners.
Made 2 bacon, asparagus and sprouting brocoli quiche yesterday so hubby is self sufficient for a while!
Greenhouse roof seems to be holding out from my repair job so next job in there is a jolly good tidy!
Work first this morning but i predict my afternoon customer will suggest postponement until Friday as the weather looks kinder! If that's the case I will tackle the greenhouse now it's not a weather permitting job!!!

    Good morning @WonkyWomble.
    The quiche sounds yummy.
Pulled pork shoulder with spiced date sauce, with baby carrots and mashed swede for us tonight.

  • Morning @WonkyWomble @Hostafan1  and everyone 😊
    Love lemon curd @Pat E
Supper tonight is a lamb biryani using Sunday’s leftover roast lamb. Don’t suppose we’ll have room for pancakes for pudding but I think that using up what we have in the fridge is in the spirit of the origins of Shrove Tuesday ... well, that’s my excuse 😉

Hey 👋 @Hostafan1 the quiche are indeed yummy,  I have a special trick that makes them really moist and plump. I make a white sauce and put about a cup and a half per quiche once it has cooled into the mix with the usual cheese,  eggs and whatever other fillings are going in.
My favourite is salmon and asparagus but I did these for hubby.

    Served with coleslaw.. yummy 😋
Morning  @Dovefromabove , new jumper is on and very warm!! Sleeves are prefect length!! Thank you! X
  • @WonkyWomble  Glad it fits and is warm ... are you in Dennis the Menace mood? 🤣

There’s a strange cloud across the valley, especially since we haven’t had any rain. 😳
