You are a chatty and busy bunch today.
Can’t believe grass has been cut!
Can’t believe that dog was left outside - definitely animal cruelty there. Minus 5!

Came home to a letter of appointment for second jab next week.

    Last freezing night tonight? 🤞🏼

Not here!  Below zero tomorrow too and wind chill on top but set to be positive from then on but no sun till the 17th.  Definitely no grass cutting.

Parked in front of a lovely warm log burner now after a Chinese feast.  Two dogs, one of the cats and OH and Possum snuggling too.   A fine way to spend an evening in lockdown.

@Obelixx @D0rdogne_Damsel just seen on the news that the first Vendee Globe sailors are returning home ⛵️.  Seems not not long ago you were waving them off ......but on the other hand, not sure I could have spent that amount of time alone at sea.  Go Pip 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

A local lad from Haslemere was one of the solo rowers who just crossed the Atlantic. Apparently he has to stay in Antigua for 3 weeks - every cloud has a silver lining. Having spent a month there I can confirm that it is perfect @Hostafan1 territory - right in the goldilocks zone temperature wise.
  • I was just saying to OH this morning about making a "new" year resolution - alwas cut the grass asap cos the next thing you know it's a wet and sodden autumn and you spend winter looking out on a sodden field, cut through, I may add by the paths made by other people's cats.

    Morning all,

Freezing week here but a lot of the snow from a few days ago has gone. Not that I've been outside much. Getting the milk in and putting the bins out have been the extent of my exercise/fresh air :open_mouth:

A run (or two) this weekend are in order.

I've skim read a few pages - @WonkyWomble can you come round and sort out my neighbour please. I'm not brave enough :(

Morning all, OK so Biglad you beat me!! I was awake at 4.30.  Went to bed at 9 with a book, read till 10.30, when the old man joined me (the 2 dogs were already in situ) -2.6c, 10c in the conservatory 13c indoors, perfectly fine with dressing gown and slippers, want a cuppa but the kettle might wake the old man, tell me about your neighbours Biglad, sure they cannot be worse than mine!!!

Probably not @Nanny Beach - just irritating behaviour and a selfish attitude from next door. The couple on the other side have an ongoing dispute with them, involving the police so we've got off lightly in comparison. The house is up for sale though ;)

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
🥶 still pretty much white outside here ... the bus route along the bottom of the ride is pretty much clear but a lot of the side roads are still compacted snow.   I’m staying in.

@Biglad I can confirm that most people find it best to stay on the right side of @WonkyWomble 🤫 🤣
