    @Hostafan1 :)
    @WonkyWomble well done you, I can't abide cruelty to any animals.
    Daughter's birthday today, had a zoom with her earlier and while talking to her a beautiful bouquet of flowers arrived from her brother for her birthday and thanking her for all the support she is giving him at the moment, we were both very tearful!

    Hello all.

    You did absolutely the right thing @WonkyWomble, that poor dog.

    Sometimes technology is wonderful. How lovely and exciting @Hostafan1.

    It's tipping with rain again, the little river is starting to overflow again and when I went to feed the donkey a small stream was flowing down the lawn.

    My plants arrived from "Promesse des Fleurs". The hellebores look very good, some in flower, and are in large pots, but I don't know whether the brunneras are alive or dead.

    A lovely moment @Hostafan1 😀😀😀

    And nice to feel “good” tearful every now and then @floralies and @Dovefromabove

    I’ve just been reading messages of thanks after our latest Garden club zoom night....and been welling up a bit here too 😂.  Chicklet calls it “cry smiling”.  Must be the time of year 🤣
  • I definitely think that it is the time of year! I got very teary watching Landscape Artist of the Year last night.

    Its so nice to hear that people are getting their jabs - my parents are in their late 60's so fingers crossed they will be getting their letter soon! I'm a registered carer so I'm hoping I will be moving up the cohort but not convinced.

    It feels like today is a good day I can't lie. Maybe it's because the sun is shining, maybe because it's Friday, who knows!!!

    Looking forward to getting my bare roots potted up this weekend too! Yay! :)

    This is Chicklet “cry smiling” when I told her I was going to jump on a plane to Australia for her 21st birthday.  it’s one of my favourite photos 🤣

    Been jabbed :) A very smooth operation and the nurse recognised me! She probably did my flu jab last year as she normally works in Haslemere. It was the Pfizer/Biontec vaccine and I should get the second dose in 12 weeks.

    Yay @steephill 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 . Can I be nosy and ask what priority group you are in. Trying to work out when they might get to Group 6 in this area - would be lovely to be able to stop worrying about Mr C.
  • Different area (Suffolk) but I’ve just heard that my little brother (lymph cancer plus) and his wife (only 60 but she’s his carer) had their jabs yesterday 👍
