Morning Dove and DD. I’m glad you’ve found ways to keep warm and busy. We moved a bit more wood, but not chainsawing. It all helps to clear the area up. It was low 20 s today, so not really hot.
Morning @Dovefromabove , @D0rdogne_Damsel and evening/afternoon @Pat E. Low 20s and sunny or high 20s in shade sound like optimal conditions for genus Desi !
Wish I could send you some warm weather Desi. No doubt we will be in a reverse position in a couple of months. We are only about an hour’s drive from the ski fields in southern NSW, so when winter hits here, we will be shivering.
Only a light covering of snow here ....looks very pretty. We got out for a walk yesterday and it was bitterly cold, but lovely at the same time. We are forecast -7 on Wednesday, which is very low for us.
Today will be spent staring at a screen as its a College day 🤓. Then an NGS zoom talk on snowdrops this evening. My pots of special ones are doing brilliantly this year 👍🏻. This time last year we were jetting off to Australia for a month (what a strange concept now) so instead of weekly liquid feed I gave them a dose of slow release granules....and it seems to have suited them very well.
Pleased to hear the meds are working for SiL @Yviestevie ......everything crossed that he has now turned a corner. Big hugs for you 🤗
Morning all, evening @Pat E if you could send some sunshine please, I need all this snow to melt!! That's the view from the kitchen window just now. The bird feeders have never been so busy and that's saying something here!
@Yviestevie, so glad to hear your news, here's to a steady and full recovery. X
Much the same here @WonkyWomble ... even the milkman hasn’t made it here yet this morning and it takes a lot to stop him ... he’s Eastern European and says Pah! to our English snow ... it isn’t real snow .... but it seems that it is real this time. ❄️
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

The house is even colder today than yesterday.

@Hostafan1 start in bed with electric blanket!! 😉
Hello @chicky any chance of a picture of your posh snowdrops? Can't see mine under all the snow! Sounds like the course is fascinating 😀
Good morning @Dovefromabove, what's your weather like today? As you can see, little has changed here!
