Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Glad the rain we sent you has arrived at last @Pat E 🌧 we’ve plenty more you can have 😉 After quite a few days of sleeping later than usual I’m back to the old routine of waking early ... I’ve had a decaf in case I can get back to sleep, but ...

So pleased to hear more positive news from @yviestevie ......hope today is another day of improvement all round 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Tuesday is a school day for me .....at the moment that means heading up the stairs and sitting in front of a screen all day. Zoom is a wonderful thing 🤣. Fruit and veg gardening is on the menu today ......should be fun 🤩
Rain again today, although perhaps I should say still rain, it really hasn't stopped in 24 hours at least, very miserable. Some local flood warnings about now, luckily at home and at CdeG I am on top of a steep slope.
My poor friend in hospital has suffered quite a setback this week, various different things, I was shocked when I saw him yesterday, he looked so old and so ill, in a week the difference was startling. They are doing all sorts of tests, they seem to be very efficient and he is trying to remain positive, just such shock to see him like that when he was doing so well.
On the way home I popped into Decathlon and bought myself a better exercise mat and a thing called a foam roller, it is supposed to help relax/massage muscles after exercise. The experts are all raving about it. I used it last night and although it was a bit tricky (and painful in certain areas) I could feel the benefit just after 15 minutes. We'll see...
I have also signed up to do a 5k run training regime, I just feel the need to get out and get moving, I find walking just too slow. Again. we'll see. It's hard in the rain but I just can't stay indoors any longer.
Excitement on the seed front - my tobacco plants have germinated - however, I have never ever seen such small seedlings, they are miniscule, hard to imagine them as tall plants, they are a giant version too. We'll see, which seems to be the story of my life at the moment.

Good morning again ... OH has just brought me coffee ☕️ and gone to have his shower ... I went back to sleep and had a marvellous dream where the Queen repaid a kindness I’d done her by arranging for my OH to swap jobs with the manager of a Pro Cook outlet on a semi tropical island only connected to the southwest of the UK at low tide 🏝 I told OH when I woke and he’s very chuffed 👍 😎

How can you be bored with starlings @Hostafan1? 😉 we have a little family of them that live under the corner of next doors roof ... every morning the male chirrups and whistles to me when I’m in the bathroom ... he’s one of the few friendly faces I see at the moment ... 🤔 do birds have ‘faces’ ?
