    Morning all.

I haven’t read back yet. We’ve been watching Hubby’s nephew’s funeral on line in Brisbane.  It was a very nice service and it was lovely to hear his friends say such lovely things about him. The RAAF did a good job of it so I’m sure the family were pleased.

Catch up later. Hoping for a bit more rain. 😃

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️

I’m glad the funeral went well @Pat E ... we watched a friend’s funeral  online a while back ... I was surprised how moving it was, even over t’internet.

  • Good morning all,

A super idea to get funerals over the internet, living here in France I know a lot of people here have found it comforting this year with so many suffering the loss of family/friends in the UK.

I watched The Imitation Game last night, very good, but very sad. Thank goodness times have changed to some extent.

I managed a little run yesterday, we had lovely sunshine in the afternoon and combined with walking I managed 4.2miles, so good to get out.

Also managed to dig a little patch of a flowerbed over, surprisingly considering how wet it has been once the soil was turned over it looked really good.

Dentist this afternoon, I have to have a big tooth taken out from right at the back of my mouth, not looking forward to that. :(

Morning all,  evening @Pat E Good that you are able to join the family remotely for the funeral,  safest way all round.

I've been soaked by unexpected rain showers at work 2 days in a row now but new waterproof trousers have arrived! So better prepared now.  The old ones had split seams.

No work today,  hubbys birthday and as he's shielding and furloughed it would have been a bit boring on his own.  We have the highest covid  rates in Ipswich in this area so not wise to take exercise locally especially as no one is obeying the rules. So we are off to the cemetery to plant bulbs at his father's grave.  Snowdrops,  bluebells and some forget-me-nots. Then visiting his mother,  we will sit in the garden with a flask and she will open the French windows and we will shout at each other!!

    Second coffee needed.
  • Hope you both have a lovely day @WonkyWomble  ... tell Lovely Hub to check his emails 😉 🎁
