We just got in from a lovely morning in the garden, we even sat out for lunch, cooling down fast now, we saw 2 huge Bumblebees on the crocus , apparently it's quite normal for them to come out in winter if it's mild enough. I always used to worry when seeing them in winter, but I read recently that it's ok for them to do this.
I washed the Under Gardener’s fluorescent orange cycling jacket yesterday and hung it on the line ... before I’d put a third peg on it a big buff tailed bumble had landed on it ... and then it flew off in disgust as it wasn’t a giant orange flower 🌻 🐝
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Friday arrived about 21 hours ago @AuntyRach ! Hope you get some good gardening time and weather.
Funny sort of day. Lots of research and an email for the patchwork group then a visit to the chooks. I usually give them a tin of sweetcorn but forgot to busy any yesterday so I tried chick peas instead. Not at all impressed and lots to say about it.
Fortunately Possum and OH had haircuts booked this pm so I sent them off via the little local SM and we are now OK. Happy chooks.
I made pumpkin and chick pea tagine for dinner (our own can, not the chooks') and that was tasty. Possum now has us watching Constantine on Netflix. Utter crud so I'm going to find some embroidery to do, or maybe some mending.

Going back to Doc at 4.45.
Sounds as if you might have a systemic infection developing.
