    @Nanny Beach ... this is cawl ... https://www.visitwales.com/things-do/food-drink/welsh-food/cawl-our-traditional-welsh-recipe

We usually make ours  as my Welsh relations do, with a mix of lamb neck and bacon hock.

    Morning all you chatterboxes.
Yesterday was a day of firsts.
First morning I've driven to work with no headlights.
First Sunday I've got to my last customer before dark.
First Sunday I've finished EARLY !!
    Devon.
  • @Hostafan1 -- all reasons to be happy ! hope this week is similarly positive for you. @punkdoc - wishing you better and take it easy, enjoy your garden!
@Dovefromabove -- i'll look at the cawl recipe and see if i can amend it for stuff we don't eat -- my OH might enjoy it!
Everyone else ( late start can't tag you all !) enjoy the day and relatively mild week ahead and let's hope rain stays mostly away.

Kindness is always the right choice.

Dare I hope for a day in the garden?
    Devon.
  • Morning,  grey & dull here,  but at least it's dry.  Should get back to raspberry duty but I am a bit creaky so not sure how much I will do today.

Today is cool, dark and wet.  However they seem to think the sun will come out after all after lunch.  No gardening either way as I'm off to see 4 patchwork pals at Olonne in a socially distanced, well-ventilated sort of way.

That looks like good digging and mulching @Busy-Lizzie.  Frustrating for you @punkdoc but you have earned the right to sit and admire, I think.  Just try not to fidget too much at what you can't get at.

OH has raspberry duty too @Allotment Boy but in his case it's cutting down old canes in the new bed and digging out the rest of the old plants someone before us plonked in what is now my trees and shrubs bed.

Glad you've had some rain @Pat E and hope it's cooler too.  Photos @chicky

    Enjoy your day everyone.

    Morning all.

That looks great, @chicky, you've worked so hard. The GH is beautiful, all worthy of a slot in "Gardeners World"!

Grey and windy, drizzle is forecast. Car is dusty again, more from the Sahara, but not orange this time.

Morning folks, just having a coffee and waiting to see what the weather might do. Very achey today after yesterday's pruning efforts - I knew I shouldn't have done it!
I've got to arrange for the repair of my laptop and also ring the GP so I'd better get going.
Hope you feel fitter soon @Punkdoc.
Your new beds look very good @Bizzy-Lizzie and @chicky
