    Good morning @Dovefromaboveand @D0rdogne_Damsel, goodnight @Pat E
It was a peroxides day outside in my own garden for once for me yesterday. Clearing dead plants,  old pots etc from greenhouse,  so more to do in there as I then started a garden tidy also.  Much was needed doing!
Cutting back,  weeding, sorting compost area. Lovely to get out there and be productive.
More rain today,  gardening in Felixstowe.
Have a good day all 😀

Morning DD and Wonky.  Our temps went down to 5 degrees today. No wonder we felt cold.

Bet that was a shock to the system @Pat E!
    Good morning @Dovefromabove
Today sets to be productive also,  after work I'm filling the slow cooker with stewing steak,  lamb kidney,  mushrooms and red wine. I've been craving steak and kidney pudding and oh wants pie,  and I blame you @Dovefromabove! Ever since you mentions it on here and then didn't share!!!!
  • Morning everyone,   I almost dare not say it but it's dry at the moment, so I better get a move on & get to the plots. See you later.

  • Morning everyone! Dry but windy down here in Kent. Think it might chuck it down in a minute though so not sure I will get a walk around the block.

Windowsill is flourishing this morning with my tomato seedlings looking lovely and some dahlias popping their heads through too. Not hopeful on my chilli seeds though... we will persevere!!!

Mum's off for her first jab this morning - all booked in for 11.20, they've just left to drive down there. Think we are all nervous about it and dad has his first one booked in for Monday.

I'm still looking ahead to the weekend and clinging on to that 15 degrees and sunny forecast to enable me to get out in the garden. Fingers crossed!!!!!!

    Hope you are all well.
    Dolce far niente....
  • Hope your parents’ jabs go well @rholden_82 ... I had mine on Monday and have had no problems. My son had quite a strong reaction, but he said it was well worth it for the peace of mind. 😊

  • Well @Dovefromabove you forgot to mention that the weather gods read these posts.  I didn't even make it to the front door let alone the plots.  Heavy rain & high winds.  Plan B making parsnip soup, ready in 3 minutes plus time to blend.
It's being said  by more scientists, if you have a strong reaction to the first dose of vaccine,  and you don't normally suffer allergies,  it's highly likely you have had the infection before even if you are unaware.

  • Thanks @Dovefromabove :) They are already back. Driven the 15 miles there, mum was jabbed, and then home again - all within an hour! She had the Oxford Vaccine and currently is right as rain so long may that continue!! I do agree that it is worth it for peace of mind.

Heavens have opened here now so my amble around the block is looking less likely now - damn and blast!
    Dolce far niente....
  • Hammering down here too 🌧
