    Morning all,

Loads to do today but lots of sport on TV (cricket, tennis & football). Need to do a list/schedule otherwise I'll drift through the day and achieve little.

    Morning all.
The frost has been replaced with heavy rain and high winds.
Another fun day on the roads for me.
    Devon.
  • Good morning, a lovely sunny morning here too, although we also have a frost again.

After losing another 1kg last week I enjoyed a glass or red wine as a reward last night. Only half a kilo to go now for my ideal weight, but I am going to try and lose a bit more and also even then, keep on the healthier diet plan. I do feel so much better for it and it is very easy to fall back into bad habits.

Hopefully now the weather is improving I can get some exercise from gardening rather than following a video, so much easier even if it's actually tougher, if you know what I mean.

I am making a Birthday (Takeaway) breakfast for a large group this morning, I've warned them that fried eggs don't travel well, I hope they haven't got far to go.  :/

I hope those that have booked holidays get to go, so nice to have something to look forward to. Hopefully CdeG will be busy all summer so I am going to aim to save up for an extended ski holiday next winter.  Charlie and I are really sad we can't go this year. If we go for two weeks next year instead of just one it will mean the pressure to ski at every available moment is off, I am getting too old to ski in blizzards.  :open_mouth: There is so much more to see in the ski resorts too which we never have time to do normally.

Have a good day all.

There was a lovely sunrise here about 6.45, yes Happy Valentines Day, been trying the last couple of days to nip to local shop for a card (no, not for you lot!!) but as I was feeling so rough, the Old Man went instead. He's watching a docu about planes being made in 24 hours during the war, so am going to make a break for it, The shop is only 30 seconds walk away

@D0rdogne_Damsel congrats on the weight loss!! I'm a couple of kg down but still got about 6kg to go.
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.
  • Morning all,  still very cold wind, but it's cloudy so we don't benefit from the free heating from the Sun.  Kitchen was only 15 this am when we first got up. 🥶
The birds were all very anxious to get the mealworms again, even though there's plenty in the seed feeders and the mix has some suet pellets in it.
    AB Still learning

  • Thank you @Latimer. Under normal circumstances weight gain is never a worry for me as I have a restaurant that covers 4 floors and I spend most of my time running between them. However, with being shut down for the most part of a year the weight just crept up on me.

Steady away has been the best way and finding opportunities to exercise wherever possible, even if it only walking. The cold dark days have been the biggest hindrance, sunshine is so much more motivating. As long as it's going down you're doing well.

    Morning all.

It was white with frost this morning but the sun has melted most of it now.

    Well done @D0rdogne_Damsel

@D0rdogne_Damsel Covid has hit hard, I hope your business hasn't suffered too much!

As for weight loss, not my first go on this merry go round! I grew up as a fat kid so if I take my eyes off the ball for even a moment I pile on the weight.
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.
