    🥶... flippin chilly here 🧊

That parsley looks really good @Pat E ... I love having lots of parsley in the garden ... some years I can pick it through most of the winter ... not this winter. ❄️

Morning Dove. I always have lots of parsley. It self seeds on the gravel floor inside the green house, so I just step over it. 😁. I had to move the lemon verbena out - didnt like being hot. ( like me ).

  • @Hostafan1 try Boilerjuice - they provide a free gadget to monitor oil level and email you when you need a top up. They are very competitive - 20p per litre less than previous provider. I spend 85 quid per month, just like you I'm nesh! Sorry to be late to post but started new job last Monday and am knackered- thank Goodness it's Friday 😃😃

    Morning all,  evening @Pat E
Wasnt on yesterday as I was too angry.  Going to run this by you lot to see if I was over reacting.

Coldest night in 10 years.  My neighbour who is a k9 security man had his dog chained to a drain pipe with nothing to lay on barking it's head off the other side of my wall to where my bed is.  When I realised how he had left the dog by looking over the garden wall in my dressing gown,  I beat on the door until it was answered and told him I was phoning the rspca and police and reporting him for animal cruelty until he took the dog indoors. The dog had been out there 4 hours by then.
    I'm still fuming now!

Rant over but not the anger.

Anyway you have all been very chatty on here so I'm going to need coffee to catch up. Still a white out here,  more work cancelled.

Oh @WonkyWomble that’s awful ... beyond words!!! Hopefully he’ll take better care of the dog now ... is the dog his or K9’s?  Does it live with him or was it just there while the man was ‘between shifts’ or even ‘skiving’?

I'm not sure @Dovefromabove. He's always had the van,  never seen the dog before.  He was saying I love this dog...
I said @#$#@% show it then and take it indoors.
It's a house of multiple residents individual rooms rented. Don't think landlord allows animals. But i wouldn't tell as long as he keeps it indoors poor thing!
He had planned to keep it there all night,  it was his day off I guess!!
  • @WonkyWomble   😡 Maybe he was skiving ... should’ve been on a shift but as it was so cold ... ? If he’s not had the dog there before that’s what it looks like to me.  At least he knows he can’t treat the dog like that again. Well done 👍

I’m with you Wonky. I hate cruelty to animals. That’s why we are so caring  to our wildlife here. Always making sure they’ve got access to water and of course bird seed for our feathered friends. I hope he’ll look after the dog better after your rant. 👏👏

In all honestly,  it was a bit daft of me @Pat E, it's a rough neighbourhood and and I'm not a big person but I saw red when I saw that poor dog! Have to say I'm relieved that you both don't think I over reacted  :)
