Blimey its been cold here the last few days. Down to minus 10 last night and we still have a good covering of snow.
Home made chicken and Puy lentil soup for us tonight, well it will be when she finishes work. I am not cooking at the moment as my shortness of breath has got a bit worse.

Sorry to hear you’re not feeling too good @punkdoc - hope it’s something that passes soon ☹️

We might not have snow here but it’s pretty cold.  You don’t see Frensham Great Pond fully iced over very often ....

  • Ha ha I  thought the first picture was  a frozen waterfall then I realized 😄
Butterflied  rainbow trout with olive tapenade & samphire for us tonight.
It seems that the BBC has turned into the football channel again 😕

Can't compete with you lot tonight. Plain roast chicken for us. Just watched the new gardening programme on BB2 - can't make my mind up about it. Some good ideas but would like to see a detailed costing of the various components.

  • Of the 2 programmes so far we have liked the budget make overs best.

  • Gorgeous photos @chicky 😊
Dramatic pic here https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-56034312. Hopefully they’re right and it’ll burn itself out 🤞
Another cold night promised for us tonight. Snuggle town and keep warm everyone. Night night. 😴

Just seen the photos @Dovefromabove, Lyn told me, really dramatic looking. I hope no one is hurt, including animals. Not the usual time of year for that sort of this, would have thought it was too wet.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • I was reading that very cold weather can dry out dead foliage ... makes sense ...
