@Fairygirl I have a lovely mental picture of you striding up a hill... and coming down on a teatray.

    @Biglad - I don't think backwards is entirely feasible.... :D
    The knee braces help.
@Suesyn - I have come downhill rapidly, only not with a tea tray. A couple of years ago I had a small 'disagreement' with one of my favourite hills. I didn't get my ice axe in properly, so it was more of a forward 'luge' for a couple of hundred feet. I ripped my rotator cuff, b*ggered my ribs,  and had a few  other injuries.  ;)
Short walk only today, but that's fine. JW had a great show for me - Joni, Dylan and JT, and a double helping of Queen at the end. I'm easy pleased   :)
I got a couple of small plant-y things done too.

Shame about old Des eh? He'll be up there giving Morecambe and Wise some fun. A decent chap I think.

Good evening. Just had a lovely chicken and veg stew with scones. Was a bit later than I planned as I need to be in bed early tonight as up early to go to our new Critical Care hospital to set things up for my team. I will be on-call too, so I hope there aren’t any emergencies as I have a long list of things to do! It’s going to be a busy week.

I hope you are all ok. Here’s to a better week for those who have been having a stinker recently.

Evening everyone. I’ve enjoyed reading all your doings. I hope your day is not too stressful AuntyRach, but I’m glad that people like you can be so helpful.
Luckily Australia seems to have settled down for a while after lock downs that many people complained about. No comment!

Morning all! I slept terribly but I am up and nearly ready for the off!

It’s a dry morning and the forecast is mild.

    Keep safe and well folks.

  • Good morning,

You are doing a fabulous job @AuntyRach, and always so positive. Take care.

All ok here, chores out of the way, gardening beckons, I am going to continue hacking back at overgrown hedges and bushes - I can see light at the end of the tunnel and just want to get it straight whilst the weather is good. Need to burn some calories too, noticed my jeans were a bit tight yesterday and we've only been confined for two weeks yet! I'll blame the two or three days of sitting at the desk with paperwork.  ;)

    Good day to all.  :)

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
@D0rdogne_Damsel I find paperwork to be responsible for lots of things, including headaches 😉
Was anyone awake around 2am?  Would it have been Mars that I could see in the western sky?

Morning all. Sorry Dove, I was fast asleep at 2 am. it's very still and dry this morning so I hope it stays that way. Daughter's still fast asleep so I'd better take her some tea and OH his breakfast. Paperwork to do later, then maybe some tulip planting if it stays dry.

    Morning all/afties, evening @Pat E.
Hope @AuntyRach's day goes well. The 'no decent sleep because of stress' is part of it all I expect.  I hope she can catch up tonight. I take my hat off to her.
I thnk your jeans have just shrunk in the wash @D0rdogne_Damsel ... ;)
I was asleep at 2am @Dovefromabove but not later when the wind got up again. I'm just glad younger daughter isn't on early shifts this week as we have more gale force winds and rain to come in the next few days, and it batters the back windows. It's to be rough all day tomorrow I think. I'm hoping it stays dry enough this morning to get a decent walk.
