The fan on my laptop gets noisy when it needs a clean @Dovefromabove, I also give mine a hoover and also use one of those compressed air cans for laptops as well, that always gets the dust out.
The thing is the fan isn't noisy at all ... can't hear it ... but it flashed up a warning when I switched it on and it did it's 'hardware health check' ... it might have been just a glitch.

Menu for this evening: Halibut fillet on a bed of fennel with lemon, Steamed samphire, asparagus & green beans. boiled potatoes. - Pears poached in elder-flower liqueur 1 Bottle of Cremant Loire. Coffee with ginger infused chocolates. All served at Brasserie Mrs AB.
You guessed it's our anniversary, we don't usually do much as we were together for many years before we actually tied the knot, but it's good to celebrate anything at the moment.
Happy anniversary for yesterday @Allotment Boy, love the menu.
Glad to hear you have a good support network @Dovefromabove, a safe 'rock' to prop yourself up on or eve bang your head against is very useful Hugs to all involved.
Marzipan duty today, having to mostly make my own, I had one pack left from last year but I've used that, managed to buy some from a local epicerie, but extremely expensive, 6€ for one cake - I decided that I'd rather put a bit of effort in than lose my already slim profit margin. The supermarkets near me only have multi coloured packets, green pink and natural, all blended together and extremely tiny too.
I am also making orange and lemon marmalade from all the fruit I needed for zesting, it will be a bit thin on peel, but I am sure it will be ok, worth a try for the price of a bag of sugar. I couldn't bear to throw away the fruit. We have had lemon syllabub, lemon tart, and an orange and lemon drizzle cake already this week, I did fresh Tuna steaks last night with noodles and Charlie said "are they lemon flavour noodles?"
Then gardening, well weeding and more chopping back shrubs. Happy to get outside.
Good day all, best wishes for a good news day all round, it's been a bit grim this week as @Dovefromabove says, onwards and upwards!

Your celebration meal sounds delicious @""Allotment Boy"
(well apart from the pears - sorry 😬)
it’s been a strange old week, family-wise. As usual @WonkyWomble and my OH have been my rocks. They are complete stars ⭐️
