Thanks for all your good wishes,  I'm looking forward to the day when I can post on here and it's all good news.  I think I should just post on curmudgeons corner.

Don’t do that Yvie. We like you keeping us up to date.
Love the Hen Tales, Obelixx, I think you should be keeping a diary. It would make a good book.
Our rain didn’t eventuate and the predicted day temps don’t sound good for my weeding efforts. I’ll probably stay inside.

Purple Rose, I studied Ancient history and Prehistory at Uni and am still hooked. I love reading about past times and how people managed. I think your son will always have an interest in it after your help. 😃

We have managed to get some work done in the garden today for a change. Scattered clouds, but a bit hot - about 24 degrees.  Hubby got the brush cutter out and cleaned up around where I work  so that I will be able to see any snakes that appear. They worry me at this time of year when they are emerging from their winter hibernation. The males are particularly aggressive at this time. There was a notice in the local paper this week that a local man was bitten and died. Very venomous. Hubby got bitten about 20 years ago and was a very sick boy for about a year or so. He was lucky that the ambulance got him into CAS quickly so they were able to get the antivenin into him.

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️

Glad your hubby is going to get the strumming sorted @Pat E ... I don’t worry about our snakes, in fact I like to see them ... but yours are a different kettle of fish all together 🐍 😱

  • Lovely day here. I'm doing Beef and Guinness casserole for the birthday meal this evening, their choice, so I'm going so
get that in the slow cooker and then get some hedge cutting done. It's a beautiful day.

Best wishes to everyone to follow.
