Morning all/afties, evening @Pat E. Nice for you to have the rose opening. Plant-y gifts are always good Hugs for those who need them - always look for positives. Sometimes you have to work at it, but it can be done. I have all the T shirts. Hope your brother is ok @Dovefromabove. x Are the little ones doing ok now too @Yviestevie ? Wild and wet overnight here, so not a great night's sleep, but it's supposed to settle a bit today before the next lot tomorrow. Everything is still where it should be, outdoor and indoor, so that helps.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thanks @Fairygirl ... SIL will let me know when he’s home ... I don’t want to phone her too much as understandably her heart misses a beat when the phone rings ... they have three children all married with children ... in fact two of them have had babies this summer and Bro and SIL haven’t even held them because he’s been shielding.

Did you celebrate your goal with a knee slide, d-fab?
In contrast I dreamt that I had a centimetre deep crater in my leg that was growing before my eyes. OH told me it would be fine as the flesh-eating bugs did their worst. Exactly like real life, to be fair
Good morning all , and best wishes for a speedy recovery and virtual hugs to all those who need them. Grim rain here today although in theory its supposed to clear up. @D0rdogne_Damsel posted about pomegranates ... I'm new to gardening but "old" to middle-eastern-ish cooking -- if lucky enough to get good ripe pomegranates on the cheap ( ie hardly ever in london) -- I'd generally make pomegranate molasses -- ballpark 1 litre of juice to 2-4 tbsp brown sugar ( to taste depending on how sour the fruit is) and perhaps a 1 tbsp ish of lemon juice -- basically cook it down till it reduces to approx 250ml/ 1 cup. I use it as a marinade for roast chicken and as a dressing for root vegetables and salads. The messy bit for me is juicing them.
After a dull start it turned dark& very wet- horrible! Had planned to go to the plots but will have to rethink. Hope all those with ills & problems get a happy outcome.

Wet and wild this morning. Internal doors creaking open - good job it's not Friday 13th or I might get spooked.
Lovely Rose @Pat E the colour is beautiful.
No rain yet here. It is very windy though.
Have a good day all
Gorgeous rose @Pat E 😃

im glad that you like the rose colour. My son has given me several roses over the years, but so far I like this one best.
