Maybe folk will just do what Bojo's dad did and fly home via a different country. I'm sure it's easy to get from Spain to France to England

    That's OK then.

       People are relaxing too much.
Wise words. And a form of denial? it is the same here.  One interview re those returning  from Spain to unforeseen quarantine." I have a lovely suntan and no one will see it now."

I think there might be some interesting tan lines if people are wearing their face masks correctly.

France is, apparently, wise to people sneaking in from Spain and worried for its own sake @Hostafan1.

I have a lovely suntan @islandanchoress but mostly on my back and arms as I've gained it by gardening not sunbathing.   I keep thinking my legs are tanning too but every time I hit the shower it washes off.   Just mucky.

I have dropped a size or 2 @Yvistevie - so my jeans now need a belt except that it's too hot for jeans.   By the time autumn comes I'll maybe just use them for patchwork projects and make trousers that fit my waist.

As they are in Canada to folk trying to sneak over from the US. Would be fine here if they wore their masks and observed social distancing.

Hi, Catching up again. I agree completely about Peter Green, it seems there are a lot of talented people who aren't ruthless enough to cope in the business such a shame.
Very damp morning here so have spent a happy (not) morning looking at energy deals as our current one ends at the end of the month. Even with comparison sites it's not easy.
I did not grow any sweet peas this year as I thought I had left it too late - silly me. Lots of things very early this year both ornamental & on the Allotment, the only exception seems to be tomatoes, they should be on full flow at the mo but so far I have only been able to pick a small handful so far.

Really? As if the police haven’t got enough to do ...

Melton is on the tidal estuary of the River Deben ... it has a large boatyard, wooded banks and .... a large heronry ... who’s going to tell them who ‘stole’ the goldfish at first light;  you or me???

    Solid rain all day.

Then got even more fed up when watching the News. 8 out of 10 people on a clip about Spain, were not wearing their masks properly [ either bellow the nose, or at some point touching them]
Any benefit of a mask being beneficial [ and the evidence is tenuous ] will disappear, if it is not worn properly and will actually be more dangerous than not wearing one.

    I despair.
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team
