Didn't get around to watering this evening as Son 2 and family, 4 littlies, came round for a swim in the pool and dinner. They brought their own food. Lovely to see them.

It was 40° this afternoon, horrible. We went out to buy veg, fish and meat for Son 1's visit, arriving on Sunday. It was lovely and air conditioned.

I would be terrified in a hot air balloon.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I always thought I’d love to go up in a hot air balloon ... but I’m less convinced than I was ... knowing my injury record I’d probably do something to at least one of my knees 🙄

Our wifi has been a bit iffy this evening ... eventually turning it off and on again ... again, did the trick. 👍

Now im in bed ... windows wide and just a sheet as a cover ... it’s a good job I’m really tired ... night night all ... sleep tight ... 😴

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
