Morning, all, been up a while, sorted washing etc, watered the back last night, nearly killed me!! Got some freebie plants from the paper, they come from YOU GARDEN, boy, do they arrive quickly. Was hoping for an early low tide, get dogs and kids on the beach, but its 3 this afternoon.  Their Mum and my other daughter wanted to come, but both worked till late last night, youngest is doing 12 to 14 hours, on her feet in a store, wouldnt have got here till mid night last night.  The roads are ridiculous, attempted one nursery yesterday, work at junction of A27,A22, near roundbout (of course) I went at 11, think let rush hour be over, after 30 minutes, barely done a mile, gave up

    Hi all

Expecting 32C today, summer at last. Shame it is only going to last 1 day.

Did anyone watch the TV series Chernobyl? I started watching it last night, absolutely gripping.

I have been asked whether I am available for work again, DoH are reconvening Critical Care Advisory group. They are obviously getting worried.

    Morning all

Those balloon pictures look amazing. I would love to go up in a balloon. The nearest to us I believe in near York Racecourse. I have often driven by and seen them going up for coming in.

It is going to be a hot one for us too today. The sky is a lovely blue and not a cloud in sight. I have some friends coming for lunch so we will sit on the patio area and make the most of it.

Have a lovely day all 😎

We've done 2 balloon rides - one years ago in Belgium for my birthday prezzie tho the winds weren't right that day so it happened a month later on Boxing Day.  Absolutely bloody freezing up there but a lovely way to spend an afternoon.   Chapy hadn't bee up for months so we stayed up for hours and went rather a long way.....

The other flight was from Alice Springs when we went to Oz in January 2001.   That was a pre-dawn start to get to the take-off point but sunrise and the views were fab.

It's jolly hot again here today so we're hiding indoors doing h*work.   Rasta is at the hairdresser's this morning so will feel a lot more comfy after that and clean.   Thanks to all the wee wounds not healing like they should she hasn't had a bath this month.

I've checked our forecast and we may get a dribble on Tuesday and a bit more on Thursday night.  I'll believe it when I see it.

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever you weather and whatever you're doing.   @punkdoc - do you need the hassle?

Morning all/afties Pat - if you're there. Hope you're ok.
Lovely balloon pix @steephill . We only get them over on the 'dark side'. None in the west as far as I know.
Didn't really fancy Chernobyl @punkdoc , but there's a new thing starting on Monday called The Deceived. It looks quite good. Would you have to travel around if you decided to say yes, or would it be an online/phone type of scenario?
Overcast here, although the sun is now trying to make a mark on the leaden skies, which were very impressive earlier when I went out. We had more rain overnight so everything is very green. Hopefully it'll clear up enough for the washing to dry.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I've said it will have to be home based.
It will be a hassle, but I feel I have a duty to do it. Sorry if that sounds pompous.

Not at all pompous @punkdoc ... we should all do what we can. As long as it doesn’t compromise your health.
