    Hi folks,  I agree it's lovely to hear from @punkdoc even if he's just letting off steam I hate it when we don't hear from poorly forkers.  I had a lie in too today but it wasn't planned.  Woke at 8.30 and thought I'll get up in a minute.  The next thing I heard was Hubby saying I think we should get up it's half past 11
    It's been raining on and off for the last 4 days.  Yesterday managed to get some weeding done in between showers and the grounds was very soft so I'm going to try and do a bit more today.  It is chilly though so I hope it warms up soon and we get a bit more sunshine.   Have a good day whatever you are up to.

    Evening all,

    Gosh what a long day, but happy customers and lots of nice reviews.
    @punkdoc , we're all thinking of you. Xxx😍

    I've succumbed to a glass of wine. Feel like I deserve it.  I'm going to try and give up once I get back to work proper, except on my days off. I'm not worried about the alcohol, it's just how quickly you get fat. 🙄
    But gosh it feels good...

    Evening all.
    Just in from a 13 hour shift . V busy. a usual Sunday afternoon run has about 6 drops, today I had 11: hence an hour late home.
    Customer called last night to say she had 2 items missing , she was told ( against current rules ) she'd get it today. Delivered it at 11.15, she wasn't at home, her voicemail was full and she didn't answer her phone. It was chilled, so I couldn't even just leave it somewhere. flippin' people eh?

    Gosh @Hostafan1 and @Dordogne_Damsel, you've both had very long hard working days, makes me feel very guilty!
     I enjoyed a glass or two of Pinot tonight whilst cooking Sunday roast, also made a Banana cake/bread with walnuts & sultanas - one of Mary Berry's recipes and really yummy. My nearly 9 yr old granddaughter had made us a banana and chocolate cake yesterday, which gave me the idea, she's really into baking now. I have to be in the mood for baking so don't do it very often.

    Evening all. I've not been on for a while and I'm sad to say I've neglected my greenhouse a little recently too. My father in law passed away just over a week ago and it's sent us all a bit, I don't even know then the weather changed and my mood sunk lower, energy levels non existent  :( I have today though got out into the greenhouse, sorted what I needed to and had a good hour out there which made me feel a little better. Even gone as far as getting rid of social media because that's not helping either. Anyway, now on the hunt for a compost delivery with very little money to spare and some decent sized pots for not a lot but must be online, I'm not leaving the house before the funeral and risking getting poorly! Hope the sun shows it's face tomorrow as that'll help too

    If only the reason for lockdown wasn't an awful virus. I've enjoyed being in Norfolk without feeling guilty because of family etc, decision taken out of my hands. I've had time to improve the garden here, make soft furnishings, decorate etc without rushing. I've had time to explore the countryside around our cottage and I've caught up with friends and relations on the phone. Also spent more time with OH.

    I painted a wall and a bit in the GC's bedroom today.

    I have booked a flight back to France on the 11th July, earliest I could find at a reasonable price. Hope there's no quarantine by then, may not be a flight, who knows?

    Daughter 2 sent photos of my garden, huge weeds and massive growth of plants that need pruning. Have I said that already?
