    Good morning all,  :)

@punkdoc very best wishes to you.    :)

@Dovefromabove enjoy your day, have a really wonderful time, sounds idyllic.
@Pat E and @tuikowhai34 hope your aches and pains ease today.
@chicky sounds like you had a lovely day too. Very interesting about the weed control, how does that work?

I am playing with plants today....well swapping and moving stuff away from the builders, it is supposed to rain tomorrow so seems like a food moment. Poor things, the timing is all wrong.  :'(

Have a good day all whatever you are up to and hope to hear all went well for @punkdoc too later.  :)

    Morning all.

Enjoy your outing @Dovefromabove ......sounds like a good’un, rain or shine.  I’ve found it is so good for the spirits to get out and about again.  I am lucky that my favourite things to do (walking, cycling, garden visiting) are all outside, so are coming off the lockdown restrictions first.  Although a glass of wine in a pub after an evening ramble would also be most welcome 🙄.

@D0rdogne_Damsel Apparently they have a weed wand thing that gives the plant and roots an electric shock.  Having google-researched it last night, it seems they started experimenting in 2018.  From what I saw yesterday, it is not working 🤣🤣.  Your CdeG plans all sound like they are falling into place (or more accurately, being cajoled into place by your expert project management) ......hope the place is soon filled with happy customers (with plenty of space between them).

We did some massive restoration in the garden yesterday.  We inherited 2 rhododendrons (pink and shocking pink) which were gradually being taken over by rhodo ponticum.  So yesterday we removed the rogues.  Have marked the stumps for treatment later in the year - one had cunningly infiltrated the roots of one we want to keep.  We now have 2 very leggy specimens about 15 foot high.  Have written to the local rhodie expert for advice on how best to renovate.  Today’s job (and probs tomorrow too) is to clear up the debris 🙄😮

Horrible stuff @chicky. It's a huge problem up here. Hope you can get it out and controlled.
Were you lying down when you took your photo.... ;)
Glad you had a nice day out. I think they're on a hiding to nothing with the horsetail. It's survived everything so far, so it'll probably laugh in the face of an electric shock!  :D
I missed your day trip plan- hope it isn't too wet for you @Dovefromabove. It hasn't really stopped here since about 7pm last night, and it's persisting away just now,  but everything is now nice and fresh. All puddles and burns nice and full  ;)

    Morning all.

Have a lovely day @Dovefromabove. I'm sure you will enjoy the picnic but I hope it doesn't rain. Very grey here. I had that feeling of excitement last week when we went to Hyde Hall. I've been looking to see if any more gardens are open, I think Helmingham Hall is. I wondered about Houghton Hall but it's shut.

I'm glad you enjoyed Wisley, @chicky but then one can't not enjoy Wisley. Any more photos anywhere? Is there still a Gardens We Have Visited thread? There are so many threads nowadays I fear it would get lost.

There is a garden visit thread, I even posted it in February https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/1034947/garden-visits-2020

    Best wishes to @punkdoc.
