Took delivery today of 2 roses from Trevor White (Smilling Eyes and Sweet Honey) and some lovely primula siboldeii and epimediums from Penny's Primulas.  Never used either before.  All the plants came quickly and arrived in great condition.  The primulas and epimediums are planted but I have to wait to plant the roses for a couple of weeks as they have been recently potted.  Don't remember waiting before but hey ho.
Builder is doing a lovely job of the repointing. I'm waiting for a call from my GP about my hands to see if there is anything that can be done in the short term until I can get them injected.  Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine.

That's the first smiley I've ever liked @Busy-Lizzie!!   Hope you're doing OK.  Horrid to lose a loved one - 2 or 4 legged - and even worse when you can't be there for them.

I have just turned up 2 of OH's gardening shorts after their hems finally gave up the ghost and became rips.   Now I'm buy looking for tulip inspiration for a spring patchwork challenge for my ladies.  Some are doing really well and keeping busy in the garden, walking their dog,  sewing masks for themselves, family, local OAP home, finishing off old projects they'd put aside but some are starting to flag a bit now as we enter week 6 and no end in sight for the over 60s.

Very excited to find more cavolo nero babies coming thru in the PT and dahlias shoots in their bed in the potager.   It's only been a couple of weeks since I forked it all over, bunged in loads of manure and transplanted the dahlia tubers from the top end and since then we've had hot and dry and windy or cold and windy but Sunday's steady rain seems to have done the trick.  Unfortunately, the China Syndrome bindweed liked it too.

How weird is that @Hostafan1 I've already told her and posted a review on her facebook page. :D

Have had my phone consultation with my GP and until I can get an appointment to sort out injections for my arthritic thumb he's put me on some pain medication called Naproxen also have to take Lansoprazole as well to protect my stomach.  Hope it helps.  The drive to the chemist to collect the medication was very painful.

Naproxen is a powerful non steroidal anti inflammatory drug, hopefully will work for you.

I had Naproxen a few years ago, for my back. It did wonders for the pain, but made me very confused. To the point that I couldn't even make a cup of tea without thinking every step through...... I need to get the kettle......I need to put water in the kettle.......I need to switch it on....I didn't have a clue what I was doing.  It is very good for pain relief, but can have some strange side effects,  confusion being one of the rarer ones. I hope that they work for you and that they give you some relief, but keep an eye out for any side effects, please.
