Looking forward to GW @chicky hope I realise which it is.
Three cheers for @AuntyRach and all the NHS workers.
I see hardly anyone when I go for my walks.
I changed the bedding this morning, washing machine didn't seem happy when spinning. Went to hang the washing on the line and there was my book!
OH has had a letter from the hospital to say that his hip replacement will be postponed. I had an email from Ryanair to say that our flight back to France in May is cancelled.
We went to the pharmacy this morning for OH's prescription. One person allowed in at a time, but there wasn't a queue. I forgot to ask for hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes, but I don't suppose they had any. Morrisons hasn't. How long does it take to re-stock?
The trees are all covered in fresh young leaves, they were bare last time we went out. I knew the trees around our house and garden are growing leaves, it was just such a difference as we hardly go out in the car now.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good afternoon everybody , another nice sunny đ day in Lockdown Been on a nice long walk this morning , lot of families out & about and dog walkers , even came across a lady walking her Horse đŽ And everybody keeping there distance Not many cars Stay safeÂ
on the outskirts of a village, speed humps in our road, and yes still get the flaming boy racers, seem to be more at the moment, because they seem to think they have the road all to themselves!
Hello everyone. I went shopping today at Aldi and Coles and got everything on my list except toilet rolls. No surprise there. đ luckily we are still ok with our supply. Also got a Script filled at the pharmacy. No lines but had to come back later to collect it. Iâm really surprised at how good people are about spacing in the shops. I didnât have to frown at anyone. đ
We appreciate, more than ever, living a bit remotely from neighbours.Â
It got hot today. Cold nights and high 20 s in the day are hard to dress for.Â
Iâm glad youâre all keeping well. AuntyRach, my thanks to you and all you people around the world doing so much to help.Â
Same here with temperatures @Pat E. I start the day with a jumper or warm shirt over a strappy top and then shed the shirt when I get warm. When I stop being mucky outside I wear trousers and a humper and if that's not enough I have a warm throw for snuggling on the sofa.
Been outside having fun with snowdrops and bluebells and violets for my maples bed.  Potted on some lilies and agapanthus and so on but have had to stop.  Twisted my ankle on a stone and went head over heels and bashed the other knee.  Ouch.
Gardening is dangerous, but I guess most of us know that.Â
Was at Morrisonâs about 7.30am this morning. Blissfully quiet, ok, arrows, floor markings & barriers outside- obviously for when busier. Got all on my list, except since Iâd intended to go to Lidl, opens at 8am, hadnât actually looked at my âonly from Morrisonâs/Tesco/Sainsbobsâ list on the fridge. Still nothing urgent or vital.Â
Then have been outside since. OH has cooked tonightâs meal. Better go & sort out the resulting mess...
The builder decided to collect the dumper to use in his own garden during the lockdown. I wasn't joking when I said it was only an inch narrower than the gap between house and shed... he managed it, only a little smear of orange paint on the corner of the house.
@obelixx - hope no serious damage has been done to your ankle and knee...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Survived the SM run. Â They had a cake with my name on that will go very nicely with a cuppa this afternoonÂ
SM runs deserve a reward at any time, let alone during lockdown. Enjoy yours.
