Glad you've snapped out of it @Yviestevie .Ā Ā Have to stay positive.Ā Ā I'm rather keen to get a man with a mini digger here but have to wait cos after that I'd need a delivery of topsoil and that's not going to happen for a while yet.
I'd give it a go @Dovefromabove if I had a recorder, or any other musical instrument.Ā Perhaps I can get Hubby to strum it on his guitar, or perhaps set up his amps and play it Jimi Hendrix style.Ā What do you think It would certainly keep people off the streets.
Glad you're getting the greenhouse completed @chicky.Ā Hard to unwind @D0rdogne_Damsel, but you need to find a way, or you'll be worn out. I said to oldest fairylet yesterday, I 'm quite happy being in a lockdown. Suits me perfectly I can understand how hard some people find it though. I'm perfectly happy having very little human contact though.Ā Oldest still had people ignoring the distancing rules/advice @Obelixx. Pushing past her when she was marking stuff down on a shelf, instead of asking. Typical of some people in this area though - a lot of them are self entitled, rude, aggressive selfish t*****s.Ā The sun disappeared pretty rapidly, and it got cloudy and windy, but it's a bit better now. Hands are sore though, so I might do a little bit of seed sowing and not much else.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
@Obelixx the National Youth Orchestra were due to play Beethovenās 9th tomorrow at the Barbican ... theyāve been rehearsing for months and of course itās been cancelled ... so they thought theyād all do it individually from home ... and the idea grew ... and the Ode to Joy is so easy to play ... itās familiar to so many people ... thatās how it happened.Ā
Gardening in Central NorfolkĀ on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
@Yviestevie Iāve suggested son can use his guitar, @WonkyWomble can sing and her Lovely Hub can get his decks out, put his DJ persona on and sample a bit and blast it out of the basement window!!! š§ š¶Ā

Rain stopped play in the garden, but not before another few hundred strawberry plants and bramble seedlings were removed (strawberry runners are my weed fiend of the year this year ....I have an infestation š±).
Iām enjoying lockdown too @Fairygirl (if only, as a friend put it yesterday, it didnāt come with the accompanying terror and death ā¹ļø). Ā Although I am missing my garden outings - should have been off to the tulip festival at Arundel tomorrow, and Highgrove next week. Ā Still all hopefully postponed rather than cancelled .....and thereās always next year.
Hope your shoulder improves soon @Dovefromabove. Ā And in the meantime, enjoy the Ode š· (nearest emoji I can get to a recorder š)
